Alot of offices are moving from analogue to digital. Multifunction printers that include copying services are replacing the traditional printers. We've had ours changed in recent weeks at work and expect alot of offices around the world to be doing that this year.

Danka Business Systems Renews and Extends Partnership
With Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (February 6, 2008) Danka Business Systems PLC (OTCBB:
DANKY) has renewed and extended its partnership with the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, officials from both organizations announced today.
In an expanded partnership that includes both the 2008 and 2009 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg events, Danka will be the official business machine provider of the event. The St.
Petersburg based company will also have branding rights for both the Danka Media Center and the Danka Credential Center at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Danka first teamed up with the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg in 2007.
"We are delighted to broaden our role with The Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg," said A.D. Frazier, chairman and chief executive officer of Danka. "This event has become an important part of the texture of our community, as well as a premier IndyCar series event. We are proud of our Company's hometown, and pleased to help showcase the vibrancy and spirit of the St. Petersburg region for our customers, business partners and employees from around the country." Headquartered in St. Petersburg, Danka is one of the nation's leading independent providers of enterprise document information services and solutions. For more than 30 years Danka has provided
the equipment, supplies, software, and integrated services and support customers need to meet any print, copy and document workflow requirement. Danka delivers these comprehensive document solutions through a consultative business model designed to improve workflow, reduce costs, and increase productivity while boosting customer value and satisfaction. Danka currently services customers directly in more than 50 U.S. markets.
"One of the primary reasons the Honda Grand Prix has enjoyed such great success is directly linked to partnerships with companies like Danka that go beyond traditional sponsorship roles and truly get involved in the event," said Kevin Savoree, managing director of the Honda Grand Prix. "The fact that Danka has not only renewed, but expanded their association with the event is a strong indication that the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is a major event in this market."

Danka's conference call was very positive. A.D. Frazier seemed very confident and spoke about new product lines, salesman hiring and training and new initiatives that will bode well for Danka in the future.

A replay of the call is available by dialing (800)642-1687. International callers may dial (706) 645-9291. Reference conference ID #32895389 when prompted. This playback will be available through 12:00 a.m. ET on February 10, 2008.

Positive things are happening with Danka. The turnaround has already made substantial progress and the new additions to their product line should boost revenue substantially. They stated in the conference that see great potential with the new high volume products and that they recently did a call blitz that generated in excess of 1,000 new sales appointments.

A post to dell314:

I think the guy that started this thread with the phrase "debt warning" is the one inhaling.

The Cypress convertible preferred does not even mature until December 2010 (nearly three years away)and even when it does mature the terms do not allow for Cypress to force repayment. The fact that Danka management has the forethought to begin working on negotiations with Cypress this early is a major positive.
