05/2/2008 14:11 | What a load of rubbish by filtered 8trader. | chancer6
05/2/2008 14:10 | 8Trader - good point about the possibility of suspension. I'm still stuck in a CART short. Once suspended it could take many months, if not years, to close, although it should normally be possible to find cheap stock by hunting around on the grey market. Depends whether you consider being tied up for that length of time is worth the eventual return. | typo56
05/2/2008 14:06 | Expect Chancer to continue posting utter b*ll*cks ad nauseam!! | dell314
05/2/2008 14:05 | Expect large buys to follow et al the 222,222 buy at 4.50p on friday! | chancer6
05/2/2008 14:03 | Typo56 - As far as I can see it can't hope to pay back debt by trading, so will have to sell off more subsidiaries with the proceeds ringfenced to repay creditors, or there will be a masive debt for equity. However, a D4E isn't viable unless the business can produce enough cash at operating level to justify its significant enterprise value. I'd love to know what the financial covenants are and how close DNK is to breeching them... Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
05/2/2008 13:57 | I'd be even nervous day-trading this incase it got suspended ahead of a D4E although somebody says that cant happen but how else can they pay the debt back ? Still the most overvalued stock on my monitor. | 8trader
05/2/2008 13:54 | Any chance of an answer smiler ?? | double6
05/2/2008 13:53 | Moved up, 2 on 4.50p now. | chancer6
05/2/2008 13:52 | Looking at the numbers I can't help but wonder how this company is still trading. How are they going to deal with the $434m balance sheet deficit? Deeply discounted rights issue? Sorry if this has been answered before - it's not a stock I follow much. | typo56
05/2/2008 13:51 | Was at 20p with same debt levels. | chancer6
05/2/2008 13:50 | i just can't see them servicing the debt.. any company with such severe debt in these markets will have plenty a problem.. copied from the FTSE thread.. Stephen King, chief economist at HSBC Holdings Plc in London and a former U.K. Treasury adviser, says the crisis may get so severe that governments will be forced to bail out homeowners who fall behind on loan payments and to buy up worthless assets that are hurting banks. Unblocking the System ``In a world of monetary drought, cutting interest rates alone is unlikely to unblock the system,'' King says. ``Larger budget deficits are likely to be an increasingly common feature of the policy-making landscape.'' Bernard Connolly, global strategist at American International Group's Banque AIG unit in London, even predicts authorities will eventually have to buy up stocks to prevent a crash. saffy.. | safman
05/2/2008 13:50 | Another $10.7mln of finance costs in 3 months and only a tax credit of $7mln to reduce the loss to a "mere" $3mln. What a load of plop! Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
