13/12/2002 16:49 | Oaky you need to cahange your heading:- £1.20 is THE REAL TEST (DNK) "People have started paying 71p a share just now, that's ahead of US market, because fresh monies appear to flow in" | maxbubble
13/12/2002 15:58 | Oaklands, Not quite, I make it spot on for a change, as we've been dragging our feet for too long. I certainly would'n't complain if we did take the leed I could get me hloiday money out of then. | cinoib
13/12/2002 15:50 | UK is taking the lead: 0.705 * 4 * $1.59 = $4.48 | oaklandsway
13/12/2002 10:15 | sp - mustard or ketchup was for when you eat your hat! | pistonbroke1
13/12/2002 09:47 | morning all, sells in the UK yet price rises in the US make the UK rise.... the UK mm's must be well narked that they are buying at a loss (albeit on a small volume) | blockbuy
13/12/2002 08:07 | Mornin All Piston -Not sure what you mean re mustard & ketchup! IMHO DANKY/DNK has shown strength over the past few weeks. Yesterday across the pond, low volume 171k, and up a modest 5c, but consolidating the price well above $4. I ate my hat due to it not exceeding $4.50, however it seems well poised for the next push. Institution buy interest across the pond has moved up dramatically over the past 10 days. This is giving further credence that DANKY/DNK are being taken seriously as a stronger company with a positive future. Happy trading | serious punter
12/12/2002 17:02 | Oaks sells 85% of his danky holding and share price tops up, it just shows how difficult this one is to call at the mo (short term only) SP do you like mustard or ketchup on it? | pistonbroke1
12/12/2002 14:46 | Topped up again 25k 69p - curretly $4.40/45 across the pond, high already $4.49. I'll eat my hat if it doesn't break well clear of $4.50 today. Happy trading | serious punter
12/12/2002 14:46 | Sorry - finger trouble :0( | serious punter
12/12/2002 13:58 | pistonbroke1 It's a difficult one to call. Sorry - obvious I know. However, I have learned not to read too much from the two links you gave or any other predictive tool for that matter. Both are based on simple mathematical models and are often wrong. Eg. ABulls gave a sell signal about 7-10 days ago and since then the price has rissen. Similarly, tradetrek was predicting a massive rise just before the price crash in May. It's been overbought for about a month - it did the same thing in Mar and rose another dollar after that (see link below). Admittedly the market, and particularly sentiment towards this share, is different now. A correction of some sort is inevitable, but I do not think it will be as drastic as last May. All IMHO of course. Interestingly, there has just been speculation on Bloomberg that equities will move up over the next week. (Strong retail sales figgures.) | webley
12/12/2002 10:03 | Is market pricing about to collapse again or still going to have a little rally around Christmas? | oaklandsway
12/12/2002 10:02 | I notice that both the five day forecast and American bulls are showing a retracement as the stock is overbought. (see links below) I had thought we may try and push $5 before this happens but am starting to get an itchy trigger finger. Although I don't think any retracement will be anyway near as bad as the last time it reached these dizzy hieghts my gut feeling tells me that there are alot of people out there very nervous about being caught out again and that any sign of weakness in the price may start a bit of a selloff. Still my view this is a long term gold mine but becoming more aware of trading opportunities this time round. JMHO | pistonbroke1
11/12/2002 21:14 | Easy tizo....didn't realise you live in the gutter! | ambabe

11/12/2002 14:54 | Also, i am looking to offload my Danka stock soon completely. I am sure it will rise longer term but I have other potentially more lucrative opportunities which I dont want to miss. I should be out of Danka by end of the week. Good luck to the rest of you. | phook inell
11/12/2002 14:52 | thanks for that cinoib. It just reinforces my previous comment, FSA are talking rubbish. You can not trade between the two exchanges for a particular stock. One could arbitrage a stock some years ago between the european exchanges (eg between German and UK) but that has now ceased as well. So I dont know where the FSA gets their conclusions from. | phook inell
10/12/2002 22:30 | When the price difference between identical assets, shares in this case, increases on different markets, it opens the opportunity that one can purchase the goods on the cheaper market, and sell them on the more expensive market to realise a profit after taking transaction costs into account. This basic rule ensures that the US share price and the UK share price will track each other closely, but need not be identical. Cheers Phook. | cinoib
