03/12/2002 22:32 | over 1mil traded uk today.. big buying at end....getting ready for another takeoff?? Fidelity are sending out mixed signals..closing short position who knows...someones accumulating big style. | maxbubble
03/12/2002 21:23 | Danky finished 3.79, the dollar at 1.5704 !!!!! (3 cents in 36 hours) Without the UK being in their typical generous (not) mood we are looking at 60p....so I suppose we are at their mercy come the am.... | blockbuy
03/12/2002 21:20 | hey wadda ya know....bloomberg just stating what I've been saying for a few days.... The market is overbought (90%of the nas components have risen over 50%) and is due a correction. The bias is however up. Gerstner says the pull back from the Nas's 200dma is not all togther bad, .... some comments on wishfull thinking by shorters that this is the termination of the rally.... Don't think it's scare the sh*t out of the market report, they're just stating the bleeding obvious imo. So in a few words, of your stocks which are overbought be prepared for some some sort of correction in the short term.....I think is what is being said... I'm in the wrong game (again) imo. no advice intended ya all...just happy to see that it took 4/5 days for the so called pro's to catch up with me.....lol....;-) EID now shows as not overbought.... AXO medium term ok, short term slightly overbought, however buying volume is currently high DNK still very high overbought. hiya ff, long time.....where you been hiding? remember a few weeks ago when the invers H&S was forming end oct - mid nov and I mentioned the the one that started earlier in the yr (some posts back now).....well guess what..... another lucky spot eh??? Maybe you can answer this....as it took longer to form (4 months) does it's effects last longer???? ps, spt added to my watch list | blockbuy
03/12/2002 20:00 | Keep an eye on SPT.....close to breaking out of a symmetrical triangle....if an upside break(75%) then a target of 26/28p......IMHO | forfaiter
03/12/2002 19:43 | oak sold agt at 24p a while ago, what do you think of itl results and the mican story, time to sell or not, views appreciated | clairvoyant1
03/12/2002 18:24 | Absolutely bb! currently $3.83 and has touched $3.75.... from memory I think support should be around $3.72, you probably know better. Noticed axo moving northwards...cool ! Haven't posted in a while....hope you are all well in the bb household! Good point you made on sge, sometimes I think the mm's make there own market by playing games and dropping the price even on good results, hopefully should sort itself out soon and come back to around 160p (fingers crossed) ! Happy Trading ps( are you still in eid?) | ambabe
03/12/2002 17:52 | hiya chick howya doing??? It's good to see all these sells and the price drop overseas. Get the sellers out the way, get the RSI down and then we can move on. Another 500k in AXO after hours (well delayed)....should be marked up in the am imo. | blockbuy
03/12/2002 15:55 | ds, critiscism????? didn't read that in you question.....was a fair one in my view....hope the answer was.... ;-) | blockbuy
03/12/2002 15:54 | BB, sorry, wasn't meant as critiscism. Just looking for guidance. I almost bailed out yesterday, but held anyway. DS | dsmith626
03/12/2002 15:42 | sorry bb I misunderstood because you did not mention DNK before. Yes, MM paid high for DNK so we should see fast bounce at around this price next week/month. IMHO. I will try to check AXO tonight for you. cheers. | oaklandsway
03/12/2002 15:36 | Oak, my WINS comment is wrt DNK....they are abosrbing all the sells today...all 230k of them....must be fullfilling an order... Oaks, pls could you do some analysis of AXO....been in and out of this one now for a few yrs....would appeciate your thoughts...reason... | blockbuy
03/12/2002 14:08 | panagos, I agree: breakout above 161p or further down under 145p. IMHO so need direction from 150p-ish. | oaklandsway
03/12/2002 14:03 | Hi Oaks, bb, I think the critical level of SGE is 1.61p, like BAY is 1.67p Regards | panagos
03/12/2002 14:01 | bb, be calm mate! Principally "accounting policies" are different with "accounting irregularities". Sage is defending its accounting policies (especially on acquisition-related charge) but Sage did not do irregularities (such as XRX did on revenue). Why you said "hell of the day"? when people are happy with increase in revenue, profit, dividend, cash & strong outlook? Good news if MSFT want to takeover as that prove Sage is good value. Talking about how many more buys WINS going to take: I think the bid is going up slowly (now 153p). So no worry & should be no hell yet. blockbuy - 03 Dec'02 - 13:02 - 10788 of 10788 I see on bloomberg SGE denies reports of it being a takover target by MSFT, also there are questions about accounting irregularities...hel Also how many more buys are WINS going to take? | oaklandsway

03/12/2002 13:00 | Ah...Oaks, my ref about being overbought is meant on a more general scope... imo we are getting too many stocks overbought....ok, it's better than being oversold and everyone loosing wads of cash, however things don't like being overbought as much as they don't like being oversold. imo there could be a market wide correction if this remains the case. Anhow look too at the dollar....yesterday 1.5466, today 1.5660....2c in one day...there's volatility for you. | blockbuy
03/12/2002 10:59 | bb, Yes, it is being corrected so will watch the price at around 145p-150p. Breaking down below 145p will be good opportunity for traders IF we believe that footsie can stay or bounce to current level then move higher next year. Talking about buying the day before the results, we must check the PE ratio, price gain prior earning (to assess whether the expected profit has been factored in the traded price), overbought, etc. which need a lot of research. | oaklandsway
03/12/2002 10:21 | Oaks, don't forget that a bucketfull of stocks have risen 50% or more since september. Imo it's getting to a point where too many are overbought. There may be a correction soon. My point about sge is buying the day before results....you just never know whats going to happen on the day. I notice that before the merrill announcement it was down anyhow from selling on fact. | blockbuy
03/12/2002 10:03 | bb, SGE has gone up over 50% since September but seems to have support at £1.50-ish. Profit taking this morning & Merrill comment was based on PE ratio of 20. Traders like SGE because very volatile (the average difference between the highest and lowest price of the month is over 25%). I use the results to assess the fair value & PE ratio. Now I have confidence that £1.50 will be good support & will trade it based on strong outlook (full-year pretax profit of 153 mln stg in its fiscal year 2003) & FTSE index since SGE is the only tech stock left in FTSE 100. Deutsche Bank told clients to 'buy' Sage Group when it was around £1.45-ish. Anyway, Danky stuck at around $4. A value to watch that I had predicted few days before it happened but unfortunately was not respected by timewasters. I would like to see the snakes alive, and then the ladders come to take Danky to the top prior earnings. Finally the biggest snake will emerge unless the good news can afford to maintain the price. | oaklandsway
03/12/2002 09:16 | morning all...looks like merrill spoilt the party on sge.....results day eh??? | blockbuy |
