22/11/2002 02:47 | So it took slightly longer (but who cares!) to go past the $4 mark. Unless the UK MMs really extract the urine today, I should be past my 62p sell target. Now the tough part though, do I get greedy or stick to the plan! Have a look at the 1 year chart. It could make 80p again. Even so, I am now (after several previous experiences where profits evaporated) wise enough to know when to take a profit. Sell order going in for tomorrow. What price to set though? | ![]() zedder
22/11/2002 02:41 | zedder - 18 Nov'02 - 19:08 - 10288 of 10559 edit zedder - 18 Nov'02 - 14:30 - 10274 of 10287 edit Got what I was after at 47p. Look at that buy interest above. Last time this share broke $3, it broke $3.50 the following day. Those that have watched this closely will remember that and it could very well be repeated. Fingers crossed, and eyes down watching. The bell is in 30 seconds! Called for and got or what! There was a bit of a pull back between 1 and 2pm US Eastern Time (again a regular occurance when this share is flying), but I'm confident we'll see a close of $3.50+. Volume already 1m+. 1m has only been exceeded once in the last 3 months. Even if it does pull back before the close today, the behaviour of this share so far today should guarantee another up today tomorrow. $4+ would not be impossible. zedder - 18 Nov'02 - 22:51 - 10298 of 10559 edit Bought today at 47p. Sell target 62p and then possible re-buy after some inevitable profit taking. Still think $4 a possibility in US tomorrow, which should see me past my sell target. avoint - 18 Nov'02 - 23:00 - 10299 of 10559 Good luck Zedder (Cheers Av) panagos - 18 Nov'02 - 23:00 - 10300 of 10559 Wow Zedder, you are an optimist.......But why not, roll on the 4 buck$! zedder - 19 Nov'02 - 13:29 - 10341 of 10559 edit Let's roll those dice again shall we! Had 2 grands worth yesterday at 47p. Trying for another 2 grands worth at 51.5p. zedder - 19 Nov'02 - 14:13 - 10355 of 10559 edit I reckon it should hold $3.40+ for the first 10 mins. This will give the waiverers some confidence and then hopefully they will pile in. zedder - 20 Nov'02 - 21:51 - 10425 of 10559 edit In the past when our MMs have been behind the drag-curve like this, they suddenly seem to react and have even been known to over-correct such that we end up shooting ahead of the US price. Maybe tomorrow might see such an occasion. As far as the ceiling goes BB, don't forget it has been MUCH higher earlier this year. My spreadsheet shows that I sold one of my batches of shares for 80p on 13th May 2002. Still working to a 62p target myself at the moment though. My experience of this share would lead me to expect a correction either just before or just after the $4 mark if it gets there again. zedder - 21 Nov'02 - 14:34 - 10510 of 10559 edit $4 today? Good chance IMHO. | ![]() zedder
22/11/2002 02:39 | Thought I'd blow my own trumpet having called the action on this share fairly accurately this week. Proof indeed that if you know a share well, you can get ahead of the market. First post will be a re-cap of some my posts on the proper DNK thread: Won't put this in the thread header to keep it short though. | ![]() zedder
