05/7/2002 14:33 | Recent afx NEW YORK (AFX) - Xerox Corp said it will ask shareholders to approve a proposal to raise the number of authorized shares to 1.750 bln usd from 1.050 bln. In a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Xerox said adoption of the proposed amendment would provide 750 mln additional shares for future issuance. Although these additional unreserved shares would provide future flexibility, there are no specific present plans or proposed transactions for their use, it said. "The board of directors believes that the company should have sufficient authorized but unissued shares of issuance in order to access the capital markets by offering shares of common stock or other securities exchangeable or convertible into shares of common stock for cash," Xerox said in the filing. Xerox said the shares could be used in connection with equity for debt exchanges, employee benefit plans, mergers and acquisitions, stock splits, stock dividend and other business purposes. "Although no specific transactions have been arranged, management intends to access the capital markets opportunistically as soon as practicable for the purpose of funding debt maturities," it said. Potential massive dilution! May drag down the sector but could encourage those wishing to stay in the sector to move to a better coy - eg DNK? | webley
05/7/2002 13:24 | Good luck for everyone who bought CEL, could move further up. We heard prediction of 20p but please be realistic considering market condition. | oaklandsway
04/7/2002 21:25 | Final Capitulation? So far after Q4, any rallies look to be short-lived. Although we saw strong support at $3.40 but yesterday the price fell further lower caused by the bear market and no further news from Danka to help current mainstream view about bad news especially crisis or fraud in several big corporates which seems to overwhelm the sentiment in one direction. Did yesterday sell-off appear to be a final capitulation?. We saw an emotional phase in which stock prices drop vertically for a short space of time (last 8 minutes of the trading), but was the rebound to $3 strong enough to consider the sudden drop as final capitulation? We will see the answer soon. I will write the theory and the fact. | oaklandsway

04/7/2002 15:19 | Hoping More HD 9110 To Replace Xerox. The print shop at Louisiana State University's Health Science Center took a giant step in updating its digital printing workflow when it replaced an aging Xerox DocuTech with a new Heidelberg Digimaster 9110 Network Imaging System with Fiery DPS 9110 software from EFI. | oaklandsway

04/7/2002 15:10 | Easykill Yes - where the author's view was that DNK results would be good. They've apparently had a good write up across the pond, but I haven't found the reference yet. I will post it asap :0) | serious punter
04/7/2002 15:06 | max, do you work for printing company? This is another reported experience | oaklandsway
04/7/2002 14:11 | coscos DNK has a habit of gapping up. There is no good reason for DANKY to have dropped yesterday stateside. Fidelity buying into DNK in May is a very good omen, let alone the way the company is now progressing. AND with all these scandals around, I believe DANKY/DNK is the only company within its sector that CAN PROVE IT'S GOT CLEAN BOOKS:0) | serious punter
04/7/2002 13:59 | Agree with you share price 100%. Watched the trades carefully in US yesterday and it was obvious that the MM's were casually dropping the price in order to mop up stock. They obviously felt that with the July 4 trepidation in the States, many punters would prefer to not be in the stock/stockmarket at all, hence an easy and definite way for them to clean up. I am expecting a serious bounce back next week, especially as the results are now in sight. I'm also expecting a quick and sharp move northwards with this one, with a possible 20% gain in a day. All imo, dyor of course.... | ![]() coscos
04/7/2002 13:51 | Has anyone noticed that the MMs are paying a premium to the touch. That means THEY WANT YOUR STOCK. Keep hold and let it move back north :0) As I have posted previously here, results due out at the end of the month. No doubt we'll attract the T20 brigade | serious punter
