The main reason is to reduce the risk of being on the wrong side of the market.........as quickly as it rises it falls.....the volatility means the chance of large gains but also large losses....

TA is not the be all and end all but DNK does seem to follow set charting patterns as it is a traders favourite due to its small float in the US....

Also it very difficult to value using fundamentals at this stage of the recovery so it is very much down to sentiment/momentum etc which is easier to follow via the charts......
