I figure that this is the linchpin. The results have got to come - the company has said it would announce them, and there are only so many hours left in the week. When they come, the result will be RATHER dramatic, either up into the blue yonder, or down like an anvil. The outlook is positive though, and the wait isnt long now....

You lot are sure impatient...I have been accumulating for over a year......

Positive day in the US considering how weak the general market is...the stock has found support at 2.25/2.35 level and a period of consolidation is to be expected after its recent rise.

The chart is showing a nice pennant formation and no resistence until $5.50 (92p).The stock is in a strong uptrend trading between the 10d ma and the upper bollinger band..

There is also still a short position of 1.2m shares in the US which will add fuel to the rise if the company shows a profit...

From a fundamental point of view a profit of £5m p/q on a sector average pe ratio of 12 would support a share price of 85-90p.


When LANG took over he said it would take him 12 months to turn the ship around.....he has delivered on time so far...

Will get the ciggies in before 2pm then. Took a loss on EPO yesterday. Got the news too late but thought it was positive enough to see a sustained rise. Will get into DNK on time!

Q2 was released on Wednesday 07 Nov 2001 at 13.30 pm or one hour before opening hours in US. This is the reason I am expecting today to be the earning date.

I am expecting the result is released today, yesterday trading in US showed how strong Danky above $2.30-ish. MMs still bid 39.10p while the offer is 39.30p, very narrow spread for DNK.

FED could release good news tomorrow so today or tomorrow is the perfect day to release good result if Danka could make it. IMO.

I agree the time period is difficult to guage......but I tend to favour a quick move to either the $4 or $5 mark based on the speed that the various formations are developing on the chart.

I can only guess the speed is due to the stock being fundamentally undervalued due to profitabilty being achieved in Q3......I have traded this stock many times over the years and the news good or bad always seems to be leaked ahead of time.....

There was a nice bullish cup and handle formation earlier in the move so I see no need to worry over the present trend being maintained.

Also historically this stock has spent very little time between the 28-63p level whether rising or falling....

Erdmanski, I didn't sell at 42 a couple of days ago. I had dreams of a quick rise to 50p and so decided to hold. I'm in at 39 so I'm not too down hearted at the moment.

Am still dreaming of the rise!
