Thanks forfaiter. Good chartist view and very useful information source. Agree with you that period of consolidation most likely. Question I have been musing is for how long a period? I sort of sense 6 to 10 weeks-ish but it could be much shorter and more volatile I guess

Slow day over the pond but ended 4c up with 655k trades. Yanks probably waiting for a UK lead...

Who's going to kick the ball off tomorrow? Erdmanski perhaps :-)

hi all,

low volumes in US,..institutions still showing interest??
33% of trades until now are institutional (don,t know
if they are buys or sells)...and 74% institutional trades
in the last 30 days. appears significant to this novice.

could somebody tell where to find the full results of the
last quarter announced in Nov 2001... would like to re read it

many thanks

redman2 - You must have made your fair share on yesterday's rise, right?

I dumped DNK @ 41p Monday afternoon, looking to get in around 37p again.

About 480k vol and price nearly 3% down in US.

Probably shorters have run a panic, but who knows?

Keep your stoplosses running tighter than the Bee Gees underwear and you'll be OK.

If it hits 13p then I'll be selling the big issue on the streets of London!

Yea it might be wacked down, but I think it probably won't be. It would have to be a massive ramp by some well-placed people, such as analysts, etc. And there would be hell to pay if they misrepresented the situation to anybody along the line, given the culture of fear that exists among analysts after the investor lawsuits of the last year or so. If it was all an anomoly it would be very interesting, although I must say, it would really suck as well.

Can't expect too much from US as Dow, Nasdaq & Danky traded in low volume.

After 1 hr of trade it's 2.38-2.42 on 169,000 - not much volume

However, Bloomberg has been saying all day that they expect thin trading in the US

No pre-market trades in the US. Trades in first 1/2 hour going through just above yesterdays close. I interpret this as holding its own so far but no real feel for the direction it will take during the day. Any other views?
