09/4/2018 08:15 | To give an example of the nightmare of GDPR, a small company I work with is currently getting all staff to sign statements stating that the API data held for flights booked for the company is ok! There are so many instances where small amounts of data are held without really an explicit approval from the person involved. | rcturner2
09/4/2018 08:01 | Beyond YE would be a closed period so not concerning. Potentially they could have set up a 'blind' buying programme prior but probably didn't. | cockerhoop
09/4/2018 07:56 | Is it a concern they stopped buying back on 26 March which would be the case if they knew bad stuff or stuff coming | lucicavi
07/4/2018 12:42 | a miss is never priced in whn they say they miss forecast price will splatter | lucicavi
06/4/2018 19:39 | I think a miss is priced in to say 15m sales. I think it will be the outlook and pipeline that will probably determine direction of share price going forward. There were some big trades today labelled as buys. | amt
06/4/2018 12:47 | The most encouraging thing about news since December has been the strong pipeline. Have to trust it is still strong. | zipstuck
06/4/2018 12:20 | Well if eps is as forecast 10.5p rising to 11.5 next year then 180p would be a PEG of one. So that corresponds to the FinnCap target of £2. Would depend on the outlook statement as well and so there are some very big IFs in all that. Directors hold so they stand to lose as well after their buys. | gerdmuller
06/4/2018 12:05 | and one RNS could increase it by ?% I hold and have increased today | goosegreen
06/4/2018 11:38 | problem with this share is one RNS can wipe out the share price to 50p | opodio
06/4/2018 11:32 | I don't think D4T4 hitting forecasts is assured, I think they could easily within guidelines come out with a 10-15% miss in the couple of weeks after the YE. But what I do think would be beyond the pale would be a warning in excess of that. It should be obvious well in advance of the YE if H2 sales were say £12m instead of the forecast £17.5m. | cockerhoop
06/4/2018 11:21 | The share price has already fallen by some 30%. Company has continued to buy back stock. I agree with others that if the company is not going to meet forecasts they would already have known and would have been obliged to inform the market. If forecasts are not met they would have broken rules and regulations. So I believe that this drop is not based on company performance. I would expect the share price to recover rapidly. | phoenixs
06/4/2018 10:40 | Agree Gerd.GDPR is going to be a wake up call for big and small outfits.May 25. | geraldus
06/4/2018 10:33 | This seems to be becoming a binary bet. If results are poor it will probably fall 50 percent in 5 minutes and if they are in line it will could easily go up 50 percent, but not in 5 minutes. So let's hope they are in line. As per regulation, I only work with a very small database at work and there seems to be quite a lot involved making sure this is compliant. So some of the huge company databases must be facing a nightmare. Some of them probably are leaving everything to the last minute and hope it goes away. Especially SME businesses. So I think over time it will involve a lot more work and a lot more cost for firms in their data management. And these are in the business of data management. Firms will still want to use customer data and big data, that will never go away now. But it will probably mean them having to put a lot more checks and balances in the software. This is what they say about it. Celebrus is a GDPR-compliant Customer Data Platform, capturing customer consent preferences in real-time and seamlessly passing these details to downstream applications for an up-to-the-minute view of customer permissions. We understand customers as individuals and our unique technology can assist organisations in responding to the key elements of GDPR on their journey to compliance. | gerdmuller
06/4/2018 08:35 | I topped up at 99p | amt
06/4/2018 08:31 | amt It wouldn't be good imo if they left it a week after year end to give bad news. The rules are that it should be immediate. The last news was an expectation to hit the revenues. YE has gone and they will know if the cash arrived etc. So in theory should have updated the market early this week if revenues had not been hit. So based on that logic YE should be fine. If not look at it from an FCA point fo view. Volumes this week and selling that are at odds virtually no volume at all in the run up to YE. In fact quite legitimately anyone could ask the company if the previous RNS still stands as to confirm it is not market sensitive. | superg1
06/4/2018 07:56 | Regulation s/be an opportunity for companies like D4T4 who have a strong client base. I imagine some stop losses were hit yesterday. non exec who bought 200000 in December at 123 | zipstuck
06/4/2018 07:38 | Yes but I dont know the answer | amt
06/4/2018 07:26 | good point well made dude | opodio
06/4/2018 07:16 | Could share price fall be connected with customer analytics which are under the spotlight. Is there a risk here that regulation could damage the business or does it mean the opposite? Any views would be greatly valued. Thanks | amt
05/4/2018 23:40 | Expected sales 17.7m | amt
05/4/2018 19:56 | The share price assumes the worst despite the reassurance from the company. If there is a big miss then why hasnt the company already notified the market and a good guess from those who sold out. Even a big miss and the share price seems to have discounted it. | amt
05/4/2018 16:10 | Seller(s) about. I have added in batches today. | aishah
05/4/2018 15:47 | Last year they gave a trading update on 12th April. I would think that the company would be pretty keen, given the recent share price movement, to do the same this year. | phoenixs |
