05/10/2016 10:23 | Deliver on more contracts? Do you know more than the rest of us? ;-) Contracts lol | lwaxf13
05/10/2016 09:42 | I agree with you tighfist...I feel that this additional investment by Thailand based Biggles is for a good reason and we will know in the fullness of time. Though the dilution is disappointing in the short term, it helps with working capital and the ability to bid and deliver on more contracts. As they say, coming events cast their shadow before. Good luck all :) | multibagger
05/10/2016 09:37 | Looking at the latest RNS tea leaves, something interesting must be brewing in Thailand or SE Asia to bring about this scale of inward investment. Standing back, I feel more comfortable with that possibility than some of the other overseas business leads; as ever, patience is required. We could do with an update soon on UKSMIP, aren't the first meters being rolled-out about now?Cheers, tightfist | tightfist
05/10/2016 08:46 | Mystic - was that said in jest or do you actually know anything about them (just asking ;0) Best wishes - Mike | spike_1
05/10/2016 08:13 | If it's good enough for biggles ;-) | mysticmonkey
04/10/2016 23:02 | Stav That's a great idea. I don't see any reason not to go for that award. Cyan is a world leader and excels at winning awards so yeah I would hope we could win that one too. Hopefully there is still room in the trophy cabinet for more awards. | lwaxf13
04/10/2016 12:32 | Are we going for the World record in number of AIM shares issued? | stav5001
04/10/2016 10:38 | screeming short further dialution half a billion share`s discounted to jst plus further placeing`s to raise 10m and then consolidation followd y further placeings cgt gains on nothing lol | dreamtwister
04/10/2016 07:43 | Personally, imho, if the company say its worth so much in terms of partnerships, issuing of shares and expected orders why are we issuing shares at a discount. I think the turning point will be when CyanConnode can demonstrate its moved from research to a revenue generating company, I thought the green shoots were emerging with the contract in Iran, imo. 04/10/2016 07:13 | If as pointed out over at the Glee Club JC is paid anywhere near what is mentioned then that is IMO a complete disgrace. I would put a limit of around £70k on salary to reflect performance of a middle ranking manager. | lwaxf13
03/10/2016 11:52 | JST invested GBP2,000,000 into CyanConnode equity in June 2016 and has now approached the Group again with a request to make a further equity investment to increase their holding. This investment is being made by way of a subscription for 583,333,332 ordinary shares of 0.01p each ("Subscription Shares") at a price of 0.18 pence per share (the "Issue Price") (the "Subscription"). The Issue Price represents a discount of 2.70 per cent. to the Group's mid-market closing price on 30 September 2016, being the last business day prior to the publication of this announcement. The Subscription is an extension to the placing and acquisition announced in the Circular on 14 June 2016, which was approved by the CyanConnode shareholders on 30 June 2016. Following Admission, JST's interest in the Group will represent 11.3% of the issued share capital of the Group as enlarged by the Subscription (the "Enlarged Share Capital"). | dreamtwister
03/10/2016 07:51 | Quiet Stake building going on here I wonder if they will be making an offer before 30%! | lynxboy
03/10/2016 07:40 | JST of Thailand seem very keen. Now owning 11.3% with a further £1.05m invested today. From 3rd May 2016 "JST is a major supplier of technical products and services, providing specialist equipment and manpower to power industries in Thailand and across South East Asia. Cyan has installed its CyLec smart metering technology in JST's laboratory in Bangkok and the working solution has now been demonstrated to a local Thai utility. According to a report by Northeast Group, Thailand plans to implement over 1 million smart meters which will contribute largely towards the region's $26.4 billion total investment in smart grid infrastructure by 2026*. | zengas
01/10/2016 21:04 | My, oh my. What's with the disgruntled lot over at the Glee Club? Has the penny dropped that the "industry experts" and savvy business leaders at Cyan might not be up to the job?!! A blind man might have concluded that years ago from the year in year out jam tomorrow, failure to deliver any share holder value. I wonder what the next big jam tomorrow deal will be. GLA. | lwaxf13
30/9/2016 19:24 | Be even nicer to see this lot do something that remotely smelled of success for shareholders. Me thinks they are punching above their level of expertise and this could benefit from better management. What have they delivered for shareholders? It has dragged on for years of not a sausage. Dilution, share price in the toilet, begging bowl, year in, year out and we still have the same people presciding over this?!! It beggars belief. | lwaxf13
30/9/2016 10:54 | Nice to see the sellers have relented today | activeservo
29/9/2016 13:27 | No inside info. I wish I did but the only news I predict here is the monthly director share allocations and subsequent dilution. I am not holding my breath for any other news. Sadly I think past performance speaks volumes here. | lwaxf13
29/9/2016 13:03 | Clearly lwaxf13 has inside information and perhaps he is right that the company will shortly make an announcement. | davep4
29/9/2016 09:13 | Hi Zengas,Thanks for the link to the SAP policy statement on acquisitions. With SAP being active and investing in the IoT space, the application development partnership with Eppix must put Cyan firmly on the SAP radar screen. I wonder how much the reach-out to meter networks offered by Cyan's IP would augment SAP's offering, in what territories and with which CyanConnode products?Interesting developments! tightfist | tightfist
28/9/2016 22:54 | Easy when you've got a $100 billion m/cap. Given that they just bought over Plat. One and Fedem Tech amongst others, who's to say Cyan will stay independent ?. A big chunk of that $2.2b is earmarked for acquisitions and spend over the next 5 years. "German enterprise software giant SAP has earmarked $2.2 billion for the expansion of its Internet of Things portfolio. As part of that overall effort, SAP also says it is acquiring Italian IoT firm Plat. One and Norwegian analytics software maker Fedem Technology. "We will also continue to acquire targeted, strategic, and “fill-in&rdquo | zengas
28/9/2016 13:22 | 2 billion euro investment by SAP in IoT. Someone should tell them they are too late to the party ;-) 2 billion euros and a successful growth story. No competition there then ;-) hxxp://www.themanufa | lwaxf13
27/9/2016 17:53 | As the Directors are taking shares instead of salary, this is being RNS announced on the first of the month or thereabouts....hence the fairly certain guess that there will be news on the first ! | multibagger |
