It wouldn’t effect turnover or profits but would effect the balance sheet as far as I know. Br sbp |
Hi SBP. AS a matter of curiosity, if, instead of a full takeover, we do sell a stake in CC India, would that be included in the finals as part of the gross profit or is it treated separately? I, needless to say, have no idea. |
tf, agree with that. One way of looking at it is, the closer we get to end of March, the more likely it is that we have hit market expectations. Unless we get a notification of expectation to exceed or miss that. Hence, no news is good news.
Best regards SBP |
Let's travel back Dr Who style to the H1 Results on 8th November: They said "Historically, our revenue recognition is heavily weighted toward the final quarter of our financial year, as order completions and deployments often peak near year-end. We expect this seasonal trend to continue, with a substantial proportion of this year's revenue materialising in Q4. Given this pattern, we remain confident in meeting market expectations for FY 2025".So I am not sure there would be much more to be said operationally, as long as customers keep calling-off their pipeline needs..Meanwhile, new NED director with a specific IR remit will be keeping his power dry? If there is anything going-on behind the scenes they would be overt tight-lipped IMHO |
Very interesting TF. Surely something must be going on in the background? As I've said before, it would be good to get an update on general progress though. I am hoping that the silence from the company is all to do with 'no news is good news'. Given our order book in India and elsewhere and the apparent quality of our product, we might well be an attractive target for Esyasoft or others. That said, I would think that a deal might take quite a bit of finessing, given that we supply to pretty much all the major players out there. Who knows, but the sooner we get some news, the easier I'll sleep. |
Good Energy (GOOD) has finally been acquired this morning by Esyasoft. The accompanying text makes fascinating reading:."........The Esyasoft Group is a pioneer in supplying AI-powered technology and analytics solutions for worldwide energy transition projects. It also works with large utility companies in the UK, Europe, UAE and India and is expanding its international business..In the last ten years it has also grown its capabilities substantially, including vertical integration into smart meter manufacturing,.......". IIRC Esyasoft have been partnering on projects with Cyan in India (and the Middle East?) facilitating the downstream MDM (Meter Data Management) aspects. It makes one wonder if Cyan could be acquired as the next brick in the vertical integration wall. DYOR! |
I see SABA have failed in their attempt to take control of Herald HRI, thank goodness - it could have got painful for Cyan - both holders AND company alike. Onwards and Upwards! |
Ntg, yes looks more like someone wanted to buy a few aggressively . Best regards sbp |
I wonder when all the “apology”; posts will arrive from all on here that said that last Thursday/Fridays “rise” was definitely a leak and “just not good enough”!?
😂🤦8205;♀️ |
Morning Gizmo555. Saw your posts on the other site. Could you possibly elaborate on what they mean? |
You must be joking! |
Keep buying folks its only a matter of time now... |
Totally agree DTB. The silence is deafening. Surely there must enough going on to issue a general update without leaking any sensitive information. Hopefully they are all well and healthy. But it's been a long time since we heard from Multibagger and other stalwarts to this BB. |
DTB...yes agreed I also was expecting the enthusiastic buying end of last week was something about the wake us all up from 3 months of dormancy.. GLA |
While I appreciate that there may be some delicate negotiations of a corporate nature going on in the background, one has to assume that that the day-to-day business, on the ground, is still progressing. I, for one, am getting really irritated that the company can't bring itself to provide some kind of an update to its loyal band of investors on that progress. The last we heard was almost three months ago at the interims. No orders in that significant space of time? What on earth is going on? Those of us who've invested our hard-earned in the company deserve better. Not good enough. Not asking for anything market-sensitive, just an indication that we are moving forward. |

Good morning SBP and thanks for your reply yesterday. My money is on the former. It doesn't have the feel of aggressive accumulation to me. A few on here, I suspect, do know what is coming down the pipe but are having to keep mum on the subject. The fact that, since my comment about the size of the spread earlier in the week, the share price has risen pretty relentlessly and as baddogrex has said, probably all buys, suggest to me that is unlikely to involve a fundraise and dilution (everything tightly crossed). The appointment of Lyndon late last year was, I thought, significant, given his CV. For what it's worth, my money is on something corporate which will hopefully include a boost to the working capital and provide a stable underpinning for the company. Who knows? Would also be good to get another sizeable order to get the order book up to around the 20m mark. Don't know if anyone noticed Trellus Health this week. Started one day at 0.6p and ended it at 4.95p, all on the basis of a tie up with J&J but with no actual numbers attached. Has slipped back since to 2.40p but still a pretty good result. Needless to say, I didn't have them in the portfolio. Sic Vita Est. Have a good weekend and hopefully an absolutely stonking Monday. |
A very strong day ,ending on a high, Looks like next week might be interesting |
3.5 million volume is not to be dismissed Trades recorded as Sells?? I don’t think this showed any weaknesses today I never trust the of book trading information . Good fortune to those long term holders who stood their ground and bought again |
PS....make that 5x 250k |
anyone any thoughts on the 3 x 250k showing as sells |
Plenty more to come... |
Suddenly come to life, hmm... Always annoying if leaks are seeping out.. |
DTB,
It looks clear to me that one of two things has happened. 1. News has leaked, or 2. A buyer has decided to buy aggressively. I guess if we don't get news early next week it is likely to be 2. Nothing else to say really apart from, it's nice for the Share price to be going up not down!!!!
Best regards SBP |
Not just the lack of news and general radio silence from the company, but a notable dearth of comments on here from some of our regular and highly respected posters, some of whom are, I suspect, a bit closer to the centre of things than the plebs like myself. I can't help but feel that news has leaked but just hasn't made it to the ears of the rest of us. Let's hope some stonking news is sitting on the desk at Cyan Towers awaiting its release on Monday. Nice to see the share price holding up anyway. Could there be a late flurry of buying ahead of events next week? Good luck all. |
