12/12/2023 09:09 | IntelliSmart Launches Fund Raising One of CyanConnode’s Indian partners has announced a major funding initiative to fund the roll out of smart meters across the country. We see this as helping to de-risk the opportunity with this important customer, which now has 1.7m Omnimesh Modules on order with CyanConnode. | inthetin
10/12/2023 18:25 | Very wise - one Indian speculation is enough….. . O/T: If you want something closer to home that also has funding issues and a discounted raising price you could take a look at Surface Transforms(SCE); I guess Liverpool has its attractions! tightfist | tightfist
10/12/2023 16:58 | Thanks TF. Think I shall bide my time and leave it to the experts. Hope it does well for you. If CC delivers in the near future I may have a rethink, but for now I shall sit on the sidelines and spectate. | derek ten bag
10/12/2023 15:06 | Hi DTB, Saietta SED (the UK AIM company, not the Indian JV operation) is AIM quoted and my holding is inside an ISA. There is a lot of helpful info within their comprehensive 27/11 Placing RNS. However, beware that they are very clear that further funding will be required soon to see them through to profitability… . So at summary level the situation with Saietta is similar to Cyan - directors subscribing for fresh equity, an attractive product, lots of market hope and strong Indian partners - but uncertainty of Revenue ramp-up and funding continuity. . Good luck, tightfist | tightfist
09/12/2023 12:03 | Hi TF No, I was meaning a few mug PIs having a punt might lift the share price a little bit. However, thinking about it, that probably wouldn't work, they'd just be taking up the slack created by our major investors sneakily offloading some of their 10p shares (again). | inthetin
08/12/2023 16:03 | TF, I believe SED is an exchange-traded instrument. Can you elucidate? Thought I might have a dabble. Are they suitable for an ISA and how tradeable are they? | derek ten bag
08/12/2023 14:08 | ITT; IMO our Bid will not come from a mug, but from a big-hitter who commands industry respect. They would become too powerful to be otherwise. | tightfist
08/12/2023 14:04 | Yes, a bit of a coincidence...... and lead with the Sale. | tightfist
08/12/2023 09:37 | After KKR snapping up SMS, what we need are a few mugs looking to invest in anything with a link to smart meters. Beggars can't be choosers. | inthetin
08/12/2023 09:11 | PS: Not sure JC would be too satisfied with 43p if the potential here is whata we have been led to believe, but who knows. 100k sold and another 100k bought. Someone moving stock into an ISA from outside? | derek ten bag
08/12/2023 09:07 | Been looking at Saietta and there seems to be quite a similarity between them and Cyan in terms of potential, fund-raising needs but also general optimism from observers. And they also attract the same kind of doom-sayers that we get with Cyan, especially on the other board. Anyway, thanks for the reply TF and enjoy India. | derek ten bag
08/12/2023 08:54 | I saw last night there was an agreed Bid RNS yesterday for UK Smart Metering Systems, at a 41% premium. Put simply, it values SMS at 4.7x Trailing Twelve Month revenue. I or MB must refresh on what the juicy comparable Calisen Bid was a few years ago (data still available on LSE?) . I haven’t read in detail how the SMS business is evolving; I know it’s diversifying into energy storage. However I recall the original smart meter ownership aspect was very Capital-heavy compared with the Cyan business model. If Cyan can hit forecast revenue in Summer 2025 (£27.2m) and attain 4.7x I would be fairly satisfied - that would be 43p assuming no further dilution…̷ . I note belatedly that the FY2025 Revenue forecast was indeed reduced in Stocko to £27.2m during w/e 19.10.2023, but still forecasting a profit. . Yes, I am off to India in late January. If I had one visit to make it would however be to Saietta (SED)……. | tightfist
08/12/2023 08:15 | Has everyone gone in to hibernation? Used enjoy the chat on this site even in quiet phases. Didn't someone on here say recently that they were heading for India? Don't suppose whoever it was popped round to Gurgaon to check on progress. | derek ten bag
05/12/2023 11:17 | Never mind the interims, where the hell is Multi? | derek ten bag
05/12/2023 11:00 | Incidentally, the Interims were out on 14th/15th December in the last two years - next week of 2023 anyone? | tightfist
05/12/2023 10:57 | Hi DTB, clearly there are multiple sequential lags which may give us all, and the market, a sense of uncertainty. One I hadn’t anticipated was the delay between posts #5842 (28.04) & #7456 (30.11); maybe Intellismart (aka GoI?) needed all their Ducks/Sub-contractor . Recall….. This comes in the wake of the Adani and GMR UP cancellations announced on 2.4.23 and some pressure to reduce contract size: . . Lots of noise - meanwhile we thankfully have several months before FY2025 revenue visibility comes into sharp focus. DYOR! tightfist | tightfist
05/12/2023 08:50 | Hi TF. Be good to know how many of that 281,000 involved our product. If I recall, we had either shipped or installed around 500k modules in the first six months. I assume we might deliver the product but there seems to be a significant lag between us delivering and them installing. All getting very tedious. As for Blackadder, SBP. Wonderful. | derek ten bag
04/12/2023 11:37 | Thanks tf. I got too bored analysing that data. It's pretty clear that progress is even slower than a slow thing from slow land (blackadder). Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
04/12/2023 11:13 | Latest NSGM.gov.in update dated 29/11 reports just 281k installations in November, 60% of which were RDSS in Assam, Bihar, AP, MP. .No new Commencement states/utilities listed for November. .Ho, Hum. tightfist | tightfist
30/11/2023 21:35 | Alas it is the same, well spotted major, see post by nilli number 5842. I think this tweet is about signing of the contract rather than winning the initial order. back as you were!!!! Best regards SBP ( you can try this link major x.com/intelli_smart/ | stupidboypike
30/11/2023 21:02 | I can’t make johnwall’s link work. I have swapped the xx for tt. Can anyone else supply a link? It’s not a duplication of the 6.7 million from May of this year is it? Apols for being thick. | major courtenay
30/11/2023 16:58 | MB (otherwise known as Brian):- | inthetin
30/11/2023 16:06 | Yes TF, Where indeed is Multi. I think we should be told. Hopefully not a health issue. We need his (her/their?) wise counsel | derek ten bag
30/11/2023 15:31 | Hi JW, I was wondering that too. The 500k or so that were delivered in the first six months went where ? Presumably split between Intellismart, Genus and Montecarlo. But some news on that would be helpful. That sort of information could be put out in a newsletter I would have thought. Remember these? What on earth does Dom do for his money? Answer the occasional phone call from irritated shareholders? I hope we're not paying him much. It shouldn't be beyond them to keep the website up to date with little news items like that. Not market sensitive surely? And it would be greatly appreciated. Especially in these 'longeurs' between orders. I'm really losing the will to live here. | derek ten bag |
