Not sure you can rule out Cyan in this , a number of smart meters are connected to a DCU and this then communicates using GPRS hence the smart meters use GPRS in a collective manner. Two way communication is also possible.

I'd love to be right :-)

Much as I would like it to be otherwise, I don't think this is relevant to CC. The official release linked to by ITT below says "The Smart meters procured by EESL use GPRS technology to allow 2 £way communication between the DISCOM and consumers". This is consistent with the statement by EESL's Kumar in September's Economic Times article (posted here) which said that all tenders had to use GPRS. So, never was one for CC I would say.

Or have I misunderstood? I'd love to be wrong .....

We have already had three repeat orders from L&T who has been the lowest bidder in the above 5m smart meter tender.

We have also partnered with Genus - who is the second lowest bidder.

So the prospect that CYAN inside will power a significant part of the 5 million smart meter roll out looks probable (to say the least) !

Too many positive developments in CYAN which may work against getting max value for my and my wife's ISA for the year if I left it in the usual monthly drip feed.

Hence decided to take the balance of the annual ISA limit today....took two lots of 41304@29p and 40722@29.4p respectively :)

Any more share options with a price below 80p (circa 0.4p in old money) would IMO be two fingers to PIs. This would not apply to recent hires who came onboard after the share had been well and truly driven into the ground.

a lovely crop of carrots planted in the field of dreams,consolidated shares was shadowed with dilution of 4 October 2017 for the General Placing Shares and 6,589,283 of the Subscription Shares. It is expected that April Admission will become effective and that dealings in the remaining 1,785,714 Subscription Shares will commence by 8.00 a.m. on 10 April 2018.......whats up doc ?

It's a great investment strategy is it not? someone, anyone, that one has never heard of but happens to punt on insurance outcomes and is therefore deemed to be very very rich and so must know what they're doing, therefore one must blindly follow them into ones choice of punt.

How ridiculous, no wonder most PI's lose money.

Not sure if we are talking about the same person...

William David Johns-Powell appears to have an interest in Cottrell Park (Golf Course) in South Glamorgan and may be associated with a building company as well.

At the meeting when I asked who he was, I was told that he is a Lloyds Name.

Very deep pockets - as his last RNS was to notify of 328m share purchases and he has participated in the £8.6m fund raise it would appear apart from buying on the market.

A move from 5.86 to 7.43% is not to be sniffed at - clear intent and commitment.

Follow the money :)

William Johns-Powell increases stake from 5.86% to 7.43%....apparently he is a "Lloyds Name" and would have very deep pockets I imagine. Could be soon competing with John Stamp (Nightingale and Biggles) in the near future...and that would be good for the share price :)

Now holds 8,818,491 shares in post consolidation equity....his buying may partially explain the share price dropping yesterday....
