06/2/2017 07:12 | Today could be interesting following this morning announcement of a Contract win in Sweden | bilbosenior
04/2/2017 19:17 | I rashly sold out at a largish loss when the share price dropped on Thursday. After all this encouraging info, I really wish I hadn't been so jumpy. Hopefully this will teach me, but I won't be getting back in unless there are more confirmed orders. Good luck the rest of you! | runthejoules
04/2/2017 14:50 | exert from timbo Q: When will you do a shares consolidation? A: Not everyone wants one, the broker is not that keen. We did say we would do it at some time in the merger document, so it will happen. who will t/o this outfit with the amount of shares in issue ? the bod will continue to dilute the pi shareholdings whilst collecting more shares for their portfolio until orders of substance. then the pi will be shafted by consolidation as long term holders who valued the company at a higher price will never recover their loses. the pi is keeping this outfit a float & the bod will milk the cash cow until they get a dose of gout. | dreamtwister
04/2/2017 12:15 | CyanConnode's two bits of kit were also on display at their stand on Tuesday (see below): The first photo is the Cyan legacy hardware to be used in markets such as India and the second photo is the Toshiba so called Tophat (loaded with CyanConnode software) which will sit above the smart meters in UK areas with only a weak O2 signal (i.e. the so called "NotSpots") | timbo003
04/2/2017 07:53 | Hey STAVHope you're keeping well. Still hopeful and have bought back in here. Understand that HB presented rather than JC as he, JC, is currently in India. I'd like to think it was to sign off a contract, but previous experience suggests it'll be another backscratching, whiskey drinking retreat with nothing coming from it!!!!!! But I'd gladly be proven wrong. India are going for central bulk purchasing now, or they are talking about it anyway. They're very good at that as they've had years and years of experience.ATB and although I don't shout it with as much enthusiasm now COME ON CYANCONNODE | cancun tango
03/2/2017 20:33 | Cancun TANGO: HI WAXY JC was never one for Q & A......LOL! S S is a gentleman. | stav5001
03/2/2017 17:08 | Many thanks Timbo. | apeman2
03/2/2017 09:40 | So none of these deals are in the bag and might never end up in the bag. A greater than 50% chance. WTF does that mean? IMO it means nothing until the deal is signed and cash in the bank. It's the same old with this company. Jam tomorrow, jam tomorrow. Nice work if you can get it. So will JC come back from India (assuming that is where he is) with anything more than stuff from the duty free shop? | lwaxf13
03/2/2017 08:33 | Thanks for clearing that up dwall, I have calculated in the past this gives JC an overall average of about .20p and SS mid 2's. imo. | krowelet
03/2/2017 08:21 | Krowelet Thats because all of the shares issued in the last 2 Q of 2016 were for the full years salary, i.e. between mid 2016 - 2017. Except for bonus issues. | dwall
03/2/2017 08:07 | Thank you for attending and sharing Timbo, would tend to agree with cancum re.14 new opportunities. No monthly director shares in lieu of salary purchases RNs as yet this month. | krowelet
03/2/2017 08:04 | dwall, I can't 100% be sure, maybe he said 40 not 14, but he definitely said greater than 50% chance of success, which means we should end up with more than half of them.. | timbo003
03/2/2017 08:02 | So its 40 odd opportunities/tender Lets hope so and that the new, new ones come to fruition quicker than the old new ones! I will call them later for qualification. | dwall
03/2/2017 07:55 | Thanks timbo, always appreciated.Dwall, maybe the word 'new' is a clue.I like this bit : Iran: no competition | cancun tango
03/2/2017 07:43 | timbo003 Thanks as always for your update on visit etc. Slightly concerning is :- "Cyan are currently pursuing 14 new opportunities with a >50% chance of success." I thought at least a year ago we were told there were far more opportunities/tender Does this mean the difference have dropped by the wayside, if so this flies contrary to JC saying before that we have not lost a tender yet and competition must be greater than i thought? Maybe i am misinterpreting but do you have any further clarification please? | dwall
03/2/2017 07:12 | The video of Harry Berry’s presentation should appear here either today or early next week: It was quite short with no time allocated for Q&As The main points covered were as follows: Cannode merger: came with £25m revenue for the UK smart meter project India: Huge potential market, $32Bn (1.7% GDP) lost due to electricity leakage (mainly theft) Iran: No competition Working with partners is Cyan's preferred modus operandi, Silver Spring tried without partners and it didn’t really work for them Cyan are currently pursuing 14 new opportunities with a >50% chance of success. At the stand I discussed a few items with SS Q: Have Cyan got enough cash to get to break even A: no comment Q: Is there still headroom for more EIS money A: yes Q: When will you do a shares consolidation? A: Not everyone wants one, the broker is not that keen. We did say we would do it at some time in the merger document, so it will happen. Q: Are you worried about Trump and Iran-? A: We have discussed this, it's not currently a problem, if the US were to impose trade sanctions, how would they police it for every component in every product made elsewhere? There is one chip in our hardware which is made in the US, there are other non-US suppliers we could use instead. If we were to suddenly stop using the US sourced chip, it would only be a temporary disruption. Should there be any developments in this area where we considered it might affect our business going forward, we would inform the market via RNS | timbo003
03/2/2017 05:47 | Anything exciting to report Timbo from the recent Cyanconnode presentation or was it just the same as previous ones? | apeman2
03/2/2017 00:00 | Zengas, in a macro sense you are right, but there may also be a micro problem in the event of sanctions if there are any US parts, which cannot be replaced. | bscuit
02/2/2017 21:36 | This evenings "Tonight" program on ITV at 19.30 was entitled "Energy Bills: Can We Be Smarter?". Needless to say it was all about smart meters and who ultimately pays for the £11Bn nationwide rollout. There was no mention of "NotSpots" and all the homes featured were presumably in areas with decent O2 mobile coverage as I didn't spot any of the Toshiba top hats (with Cyan-Cannode software) sitting on top of the smart meters. The government and the energy suppliers were cast as the bad guys and the consumers were the unwitting victims. | timbo003
02/2/2017 11:26 | The smart metering market will be global and is only just starting out. I don't know about you but I don't want a smart meter in my house but that's not the point, they'll be forced upon us within the next few years. CYAN was a bit too early setting up 10 years ago but at least they could see the potential and now have a solid grounding with trials picking up. We just have to wait (and hope they don't go bust in the meantime!). Every single grid connected property on the planet will eventually have a smart meter (unless we find a new form of unlimited energy...), so I don't consider Iran to be an issue. I think this recent share price decline is simply a few people running out of patience and some last few remaining punters from the old days cutting their losses. | activeservo
02/2/2017 11:03 | I doubt cyan will see s penny out of Iran. The silence on that is deafening plus any future sanctions will be a body blow. They have s tendency to big things up then deliver crumbs. Hat off to them they do run lots of not for profit trials ;-) | lwaxf13
02/2/2017 10:59 | Just a thought, but with the new US regime and them putting Iran on notice after their ballistic missile test and the attack by Houthi rebels (on a Saudi warship) which Iran supports could that be making investors jittery over the possibility of future sanctions which the UK would possibly have to support given its desire for the UK/US trade deal and having an effect on future business/earnings from Iran ? It's not the only market of course but the one where they made the biggest order so far. | zengas
02/2/2017 10:51 | A tech share which can hold it's own at this level (0.18 - 0.2p) for over 7 months is a rare find. Over the last few weeks patience was obviously wearing a bit thin for a handful of punters. Nice to see confidence is still just below the surface.. | activeservo
01/2/2017 10:13 | 08:45 - 01/02 Sell 5000000 0.19p £9,500.00 - bit bigger than a tree-shake but not huge. Moving on low volume. | runthejoules |
