From the accounts out this month. "The directors are confident that they will be able to fund ongoing operations and GROWTH through existing and prospective sales, and other options the board is persuing." Note they have ongoing defered cash comming in as well.

HDS - Yes, my wording above is poor. To clarify, this is a simple redenomination of par with no consolidation as opposed to similar situations which also consolidate the shares at the same time.

Therefore there appears to be no other conclusion than that the company are doing this to raise further funding by issuing new capital at below the current par value of 1p.

All IMHO, DYOR etc.

Even 169 million shares in issue is nothing! Other small companies have up to 2 billion in issue!!! Look at the fundamentals and DYOR.This is a good punt with fantastic world class technology and a world wide sales push about to happen (see rns)

.......dell314 - in my book too that has always been the only reason. Maybe they will offer a free do-it-yourself home laser for every 1m shares purchased.

As far as I'm aware the only reason to lower a par value in a capital reconstruction is to issue new shares at below the current par value....

Anyone got an alternative theory, or do you all agree that CUS are planning to raise additonal funds by issuing new equity at below current par?

Please make up your own mind, however its about buying a company at the right price, if you buy five like this one, you should get a ten, 20, or 50 bagger over time. Might lose the odd one along the way, but you are paying the right price for that risk, good luck.

........"it could be a very wise punt"........or it could be a pump and dump from tara7.

Yer pays yer money and takes yer choice.

I have looked at these in the past and found them interesting, but I think the run-up has been too sharp too quick.

The ground breaking eye correction laser technology is why i've purchased shares. The company has strengthened it's sales team for a world wide push. This could be a very wise punt.

Tara - It made a large loss last year. The apparent profit is an unrealised forex gain from a restatement in sterling(which has dropped significantly against the $Aus. If sterling rises against the Aussie dollar then a forex loss would appear).

Actual trading results are represented by the figures prior to the forex adjustment and they are cr*p!

There is also no reason for dropping the relative par in the capital reorganisation plan, unless they are planning to raise further funds below the current par value.

Ok, the facts, In profit, market cap under a million quid, profit from last year to come in this years accounts, a company that could be sold to the big boys in 24 hours for many times over todays price.

"the company itself has plans, big plans.!!!"

tara7 - Yes the planned capital reorganisation suggests one of the big plans is to raise further funds by the issue of more shares ...
