The vermin who infested this board have disappeared, with the share price above the original offer price and not that far of the second one.Their predictions of the share price sinking back to below 50p never happened, and they are the ones with eggs on their faces now!

I couldn't see the rampers for the short shorters shouting their heads off.

Ay least they didn't get CURY on the cheap. This is going to fly along with many other under performing stocks through spring and summer, as inflation dips to 1% and consumer confidence picks up.

Short shorters would be mad to carry on their game, but then again they are mad.
Most lose money.

It's more bad news for all you skint Currys share rampers !!!
=============================================================

Having failed spectacularly to artificially create a bidding war for electrical retailer, Currys PLC, it seems Elliott Advisors are back again and now trying to stir up a massive sh*t storm at Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC (SMT).

Managed by Baillie Gifford, the Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC has a current market value of around £12 Billion and holds shares in U.S. tech stocks including Nvidia, SpaceX and Bytedance (owner of Tik-Tok).

In its meeting today, the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted 8 to 1 in favour of maintaining the base rate at 5.25% for a fifth consecutive time.

The decision comes as figures released yesterday by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed UK inflation slowed significantly to 3.4% in the year to February – its lowest level since September 2021.

While this is a positive sign, measures taken by the Bank of England to bring down inflation are having the desired effect, but this latest announcement will be met with disappointment from borrowers anxiously awaiting relief from high mortgage rates.

Consumer spending is not picking up, anytime soon !!.
