16/9/2010 20:51 | Thanks Stegrego. Im no fan of Arbuthnot due to personal dealings ive had with them related to other shares, but good to see them doing their job here. | davydoo
16/9/2010 20:35 | Arbuthnot maintained its "strong buy" stance and 55p target price for the consumer-focused technology solutions provider Clarity Commerce Solutions (CCS). The broker notes the positive share price movement from peer group K3 Business Technology* following the release of its final results earlier in the week. In light of this, Arbuthnot views this as a good read across for Clarity Commerce which also has had a strong pipeline of opportunities for its suite of ClarityLive software product, some of which was flagged at the trading update on 31st August. Unlike many in the sub-sector, the group has net cash on its balance sheet and as such, the broker believes the business deserves to stand at a significant premium to its peers. The shares finished flat at 42p. | stegrego
15/9/2010 18:18 | good day today, every small buy lifted the price slightly higher each time | davydoo
07/9/2010 14:31 | Brought an initial stake here, and hope to add into strength. Recent news has been increasingly encouraging, with recent Director buys and more positive contract wins and Director appointments. With fairly recent change in management, improving company prospects, and on a forward per of 6.9 and 5.8, and with net cash. The risk reward looks favourable. imo. We will see. ic2........... | interceptor2
31/8/2010 10:51 | The IG spread on MAR 11 this morning is 34.87 - 40.56 Thats a bit rich for me. I'll stick with the stock. | davydoo
31/8/2010 10:49 | Positive update this morning. Good to see the continued roll out of the big recent contract wins. | davydoo
27/8/2010 17:47 | Just found out I can spreadbet these with IG :) Market is closed now, but it shows a spread of 35.4 - 36.01 for MAR 11 That seems like a good play to me, especially with interims due in November, that should include contributions from recent contract wins. I hope the spread is really that tight during trading hours. | davydoo
26/8/2010 22:06 | just stumbled across this; | davydoo
18/8/2010 20:13 | Bought a few as just a starter to keep my attention. Paid about 10% less than new directors did in July. | stegrego
17/8/2010 18:28 | I've only just fully recognised the benefit of the Cyntergy Services purchase, it looks like a great deal to be be able to take this business back in house for a small outlay. Potential to reduce central overheads, and to cross over the customer bases. | davydoo
12/8/2010 19:10 | I've made my first purchase here today. Great to see the growth in the company, and the strong balance sheet. | davydoo

28/6/2010 13:33 | Todays results look solid and inline with market expectations, it was difficult to see the true underlying EPS just a tad over 4.0p looks about right once tax credits are taken off. And good to see net cash after last years placing. Prospect look promising for this year, with new contract wins after the Merlin and Pret a Manger announcements. Have had these on watchlist since February, I plan to add here but trying to be cautious at this time. ic2......... Edit EPS of 3.63p is correct, I deducted the wrong deferred tax figure to arrive at 4.0p. | interceptor2
26/4/2010 21:29 | Hoodless Comment Clarity Commerce Solutions (CCS, 41p, £15.93m) Clarity Commerce Solutions (CCS, 41p, £15.93m) Trading update for the year ending March 2010 highlights results will be in-line with market expectations despite challenging market conditions which resulted in delays for key orders. We maintain our BUY recommendation with a 47p price target. Recommendation: BUY Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
26/4/2010 17:14 | Comment from Daniel Stewart below. "The trading update from Clarity Commerce says results for the year to end March are in line with market expectations. Our forecasts are for PBT of £1.8m on sales of £18.2m resulting in EPS of 4.0p. We view the 60%+ increase in PBT as highly creditable, given the difficult economic environment. Importantly, given the improved software product suite, the pipeline of opportunities continues to be encouraging and having met/beaten expectations over the last two years we expect further substantial progress in FY2011. Cash generation, while strong, may be lower than we had forecast mainly because a number of sales (e.g. Merlin and Pret A Manger) occurred late in the year. Our 55p target price remains conservative, in our view, and we reiterate our Strong Buy recommendation." S | smarm
26/4/2010 10:37 | Well T/S out today. In line, with the caveat that orders delayed given harsh economic climate. Pleasing to hear though that they are generating cash. Cautiously optimistic which suggests that they will probably remain range bound in the near future. On a PER of 10 for year ended which is probably up with events for the timebeing IMO. I only have a few and won't be building a larger holding at this juncture, certainly until outlook improves. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
25/4/2010 23:58 | It's Pret a Manger. Saw them at Master Investor show....seemed clued up and bullish (I hold). S | smarm

09/4/2010 17:15 | Clarity is enjoying smashing momentum in the order front and I was impressed at the board appointments last month, very bullish. They are forecast to have achieved 4p EPS for yr end March and 5.3p in coming year. No B/S worries and look very good value to me. Regards GHF | glasshalfull
