29/6/2017 09:50 | I wonder if all the excitement is to do with this part of the business,Tecnofibre, and its possible increased use following the recent towerblock fire? At Technical Fibre Products (TFP) we develop and manufacture high performance nonwoven materials. Offering not just a diverse product range, but the capability to tailor materials to meet specific performance requirements. Our nonwovens find application in a wide variety of fields including surface engineering of composites, fire protection, thermal insulation, power storage and cryogenic super insulation. Our most popular Optimat®, Optiveil® and Tecnofire® ranges deliver properties including a superior quality surface finish, while providing functionality across areas spanning EMI shielding, electrical conductivity, fire protection, static dissipation and enhanced abrasion resistance. | davebowler
28/6/2017 15:56 | Bamboo thx for the good wishes. Been a pleasant journey unlike several others I am in! Dan the CRPR website has a presentation in which there is an explanation of the pension situation and the impact of discount rates applied - worth a look. I did wonder also take over but with amount family held unlikely unless they wish to sell - story continues to be good though ? | yogi
28/6/2017 11:01 | looks to me that they may have received t/o approach(es) judging by the insistence that they want to remain independent in the annual result statement. | mw8156
27/6/2017 09:41 | Looking through the results and thought they look interesting, a solid company. However, what's going in on with £11 million loss under other comprehensive income against the pension benefit liability? Is there a known explanation for this already? | dansaunders25
26/6/2017 22:03 | Yogi, well done for holding on and good luck with the results. The recent rise has passed me by as my eyes have been elsewhere. | bamboo2
26/6/2017 16:06 | Results tomorrow - still in break out territory, interesting to see news for start of 2017 trading. | yogi
20/6/2017 12:10 | From near the top of this and other ADVFN pages: "We are experiencing a problem receiving off-book LSE trades. Our engineers are working on this with the highest priority" Whatever the problem is, it's not confined to ADVFN - e.g.: says: "For technical reasons related to a third party data vendor, all trades which are off order book will not be included in the summary statistics, last 5 trades or Prices and Trade tab until further notice. For further information please contact us on lse-website@lseg.com Gengulphus | gengulphus
20/6/2017 11:43 | Curious rise with no trades currently showing! Results next week should be interesting..... | yogi

18/4/2017 07:18 | Bamboo, I sold but came back in post the trading update. A little nervous of amount of director selling but do believe the prospects for the company are very good going forward.... | yogi
14/4/2017 08:41 | Yogi, yes it looks like a b/o. I had taken my eye off CRPR, but looked at it again this week. The chart pattern looks like an Inverse Head and Shoulders, with a target of approx 1615. Not currently holding. | bamboo2
13/4/2017 22:19 | After a quiet period cheeky break out confirmed today.... | yogi
13/3/2017 12:04 | Not if you don't sell - but the question (as always) is what "it" will turn out to be! Gengulphus | gengulphus
13/3/2017 07:26 | Is it all over? | hybrasil
25/2/2017 12:07 | Still no sign of the b/o. There is a potential turn indicated early next week. | bamboo2
15/2/2017 22:26 | Flag looks ready to pop. | bamboo2
05/2/2017 23:30 | Although TFP is only 22% of sales, last year it contributed 70% of the operating profit. You could say it's more a high tech fibres business with a legacy paper maker tacked on the side... | wjccghcc
05/2/2017 22:31 | What's so wonderful about this; it's a paper maker on AIM with a small higher tech fibres business tacked on so how come the share price has gone so high? shouldn't complain as was in at just around 500p | mw8156 |
