Full year figures today, much as expected.

Slight nudge up in revenue/ebitda. Considering the customer loss last year and Covid this year, quite a reassuring set of numbers. the forward revenue figure of 200m over the next three years is a solid foundation for further progress.

Added to my over weight position, heyho.

nailen, given the TU, might you share anything re the basis for the Shares Mag tip?

Flat numbers no surprise in the circumstances. I took a view a little while ago and from the TU I'm now particularly noting Neilson's outlook being "optimistic". (Rather different to being "confident"!)

Craneware breaking out now could see big upside this week time to add, big beneficiary of the changes that are being implemented

It seems perverse that, at a time when accounting and billing in US hospitals is likely to ramp up significantly, Cranewear's share price should be falling. Is it not rather likely that sales of software and associated support would be expected to increase?

Just holding station at the Interims, but a decent enough outlook IMO.

Ok so I have had a close look at the numbers following yesterdays TU.

In summary, new sales are strong but the loss of a large customer means H1 20 revenues will be flat cf 2019. However new sales momentum augurs well for the future, and allows our company to state it will meet 'market expectations' for the full year.

My sense is to give the company the benefit of the doubt here because all businesses lose customers from time to time. However as long as the product is in demand - which it is here - then we should see things improve over time.

Stockopedia has 2020 FY revenue forecast at 76.5M. If 2020 H1 was at 35.8 (as per 2019) then H2 needs to come in at 40.7M - very possible if 30% new sales is maintained without further loss of customers I suspect.

Does anyone else have 'market expectation' figures they could share?

Surprised that there have been no holding RNS's in November, considering the regularity of 5/6 and, occssionally, 7 figure trades (£), buys & sells. The afterhours trades tonight are a point in question; the price holding steady despite the quantities going through. These figures from the HL website.

Interesting vote of confidence from Keith Ashworth Lord in the latest Buffettology monthly fact sheet.

"Craneware was the standout performer, up 40.1% as the share price recovered
from the drubbing it took in late June. In the intervening months, I had increased our share holding by over 14% having been satisfied that the company's
recent travails would be short-lived."

Well the share price has retraced since he wrote this, but he obviously has a positive view on CRW and future prospects.

String of sells this afternoon brought the price down to £24.00 at 1600 hrs.

These two chunky buys at the death soaked up almost all the days turnover though.

Gross over-reaction today. I'm holding and buying when I can release funds. A few months to recover no problem. Strategically I would have kitchen-sinked with the bad news today but have brighter news to release with the Results in September. Not that I was consulted.

Multiple compression coming here. No idea how much but wouldn't surprise me to see a multiple of 20-25x forward earnings at some point over the next few months. That would involve a potential further 40% fall.

For the record, I bought a small amount today at 1925 on the chance of a bounce and will continue to hold and add when and if the price stabilises. I think there are good long-term prospects but, in the short-term, expect further weakness
