Agree on tumbleweed, tho perhaps not this time - looks a fairly large d/g to expectations, & last year's EBITDA at this level produced a loss. |
Nicely bucking the trend today. I bought recently but sadly already had some from a higher price.
It's also good to see tumbleweeds blowing across this BB; usually a good sign! :-) |

I think CPP made a big mistake when they consolidated was it 1 share for every thousand shares they are to expensive now for a lot of people |
Great results today and still holding cash. Chart suggesting a long way to go yet. |
When many companies up and down the country are reducing their workforce, CPP GROUP is hiring 30% more workers. Always a good indication a company is doing well. CPP GROUP is ready for take off. |
No volume at all for days on end with huge spread. Ridiculous. |
Why's the spread so ridiculous? |
Nice update, I'm in. |
Are you sure about that |
Nope.
They’re going from strength to strength behind the scenes so just wait for the boom! |
Am I the only one holding this share |
Sorry guys ,wrong stock ...was referring to Watchstone |
So,150p coming back in cash so the rump is priced at 19p ??? Really?? Are the remaining businesses only worth that much ? |
Interesting update. |
A lot of cash on the balance sheet |
Momentum investor tipped it hence big rise |
Continuing to plough ahead! |
any reasons for the rise? |
Interesting little stock have bought some |
All the signs are there! |
You could be right mate!, somewhere, someone may see the potential in this, and put in an offer which may tempt the big holders to sell out at a decent premium to current prices. |
Oh, and by the way, the company fired quite a few people last year. Nice to know the NEDs are eating cake while others suffer. w1 |
The CPP Gravy train - check out Mark Hamlin's fees. It beggars belief
Sir Richard Lapthorne 160k Mark Hamlin, 140k Nick Cooper 90k Tim Elliott 90k
More fees: With effect from 24 August 2018 Mark Hamlin was appointed as Chairman of the Globiva board, in consideration for which the Company makes a contribution towards his fees of £75,000 per annum.
And even more fees:
Transactions with related parties ORConsulting Limited (ORCL) is an organisation used by the Group for consulting services in relation to leadership coaching. Organisation Resource Limited (ORL), a company owned by Mark Hamlin, who is a Non-Executive Director of the Group, retains intellectual property in ORCL for which it is paid a license fee. The fee paid to ORCL by the Group in 2018 was £90,000 plus VAT (2017: £28,000.
So Hamlin, as a NED, is earning £255k a year. No doubt he still has a gold plated pension from C&W days.
