No doubt CZT will do a roadshow on the continent for its latest piece of kit which tests just about every commonly used illegal drug on the market. I fully expect order to flow in this year from a number of quarters.

This weekend press, reports that there are 8-9000 arrests every month. If only 50% of those are tested for drugs(and before long every one will be) , the use and demand for CZT saliva tests kits must be enoromous. Further tests are then made on those charged.

I agree- CZT won the contract fair and square - a significant feather in its cap when competing for other tenders. Given that CZT already has the scientific know how, I do not see it being too difficult to provide a car transportable drug testing kit. Philips has circa 3 months in which to decide whether to take up its option of a further 4.8% @ 35p; it were to do so it should be confirmation that the JV is on track. I believe the EU market has huge potential for CZT existing police suite drug testing technology and an event such as the World Cup - attracting huge numbers might prove to be just one.

Today's RNS adds about £200K profit/year for the next 4 years which by my estimates is just under 2p on the share price. But there is more to the announcement than just income.

Cozart have the advantage when tendering for roadside testing in that they are one of the few companies that test saliva (in my opinion other bodily fluids are impractical for collection at the roadside). This wasn't about Cozart using that advantage, this was a competitive tender and they will have won it on a combination of price, technical expertise and support of their existing contacts within the police force. You'll note that Scenesafe[1] has partnerships with the Association of Chief Police Officers and the Scene of Crime Officers. If there were any doubts over Cozart's performance in the DIP then they wouldn't have won this contract.

Just in case anyone without L2 is wondering, it is still only Evolution moving the price around. They changed their quote to 30p-33p and a load of buys came in at 33p so they moved it sharply up to 31p-34p again.

Current L2 orders:
PIPR 10K@31.0 v 10K@34.0
EVO 10K@31.0 v 10K@34.0
WINS 10K@30.0 v 10K@34.0
NUMS 10K@30.0 v 10K@34.0

Dear Biswell,

I note your recent recommendation of this on the GNE thread. I have glanced over it in brief, and venture to suggest that longs ought to be encouraged by recent Director buying and signing of contracts.

Some of the questions I would pose prior to establishing a long position would revolve around the potential for a competitor to enter the market (and potential barriers to such an entry, most notably the existence of patents) and of course, the state of the balance sheet. As im sure youll know i dont engage in investment without doing my homework, so to save me a little time and further wet my appetite i would be interested if you would care to elucidate further re the issues i have raised (time constraints prevent from researching them all). Additionally i would be interested to know if you have met with or have to spoken to the management to guage their credibility.

As an aside, I note GNE propped up somewhat but it still in the doldrums. Unless something is awry of which i am not aware, I still think it is a tremendous opportunity but will refrain from adding until the picture becomes somewhat more transparent. In this way the potential of making an egregious mistake will be diminished.

Kind Regards
