19/4/2023 13:01 | Will almost certainly issue some sort of update at the AGM on 11th May. | ![]() spooky
19/4/2023 10:45 | I don’t think they’ll be providing any major updates prior to H1. If you read the annual report, they make it clear that they want to focus on giving updates every six months rather than sporadic or planned trading updates like some of the competition. Part of me gets annoyed by that but the other half likes it as it can lead to buying opportunities as people sell on boredom or paranoia. | catabrit
19/4/2023 10:37 | Purely based upon the chart, I think that we should be hovering at the 60 mark holding a sideways movement until any further contracts/updates. But I often get it wrong so dyor + gla. | ![]() casholaa
19/4/2023 10:24 | This is looking good. I think we stand a reasonable chance of hitting 60s by H1 results and then ascending to high 60s / low 70s by year end. We’re flushing out the weaker holders and those who are in it for the long term or those who have bought in 50s, won’t be selling their shares anytime soon. | catabrit
17/4/2023 18:19 | 'penultimate paragraph' has been known about for a long time. | ![]() casholaa
17/4/2023 17:21 | There's news paper articles and there's reality. | ![]() owenski

17/4/2023 15:46 | .....and all the doomsayers have disappeared!, what a surprise, not. | ![]() disc0dave45
17/4/2023 08:56 | Wasn’t this meant to be down -20% today? | catabrit
17/4/2023 07:38 | My understanding is that the current live one is the extent of it. They do have a team working on other proposals and they will now be stood down/redeployed. | ![]() roguemale1
16/4/2023 21:27 | @WoH, and pray tell, what smart motorway work do they lined-up for 2024 onward??? | ![]() casholaa
16/4/2023 21:26 | What future work?, as far as I can see what work they had under the SMP alliance has been completed or will be as per detailed in the news article. On pure speculation guess it may impact on the share price short term, could do with some confirmation though on potential longer term impacts if any. | ![]() disc0dave45
16/4/2023 20:55 | Yes it's future work which means 2024 onward contacts will be impacted....Market is forward looking...let's hope not much impact on share price and it stays above 50p | ![]() wolfofhounslow
16/4/2023 20:48 | Expand please, if all contracted work isn't impacted, which it won't be, then only future works on the order book will be affected and do you know whether that is the case?, if so what work?. | ![]() disc0dave45
16/4/2023 20:42 | Hi disco, there will be an impact!!Whether we like it or not | ![]() wolfofhounslow
16/4/2023 20:02 | M6 works are to continue until completion and the M56 works have been delivered. What future SMP alliance works have they tendered for? | ![]() disc0dave45
16/4/2023 19:52 | Casholaa "Hopefully they'll pay us to put things back as they were" The govn has said existing SM stay so no contracts to put things back. The impact is on future pipeline. What other projects will be axed or postponed to save money?. | ![]() sikhthetech
16/4/2023 19:39 | There will be massive impact on future pipeline of contracts for costain!! | ![]() wolfofhounslow
16/4/2023 17:49 | I like spooky. | catabrit
16/4/2023 17:39 | Cheaper in the long run to put things back as they were. Hopefully they'll pay us to put things back as they were as the traffic deaths occurred on stretches already completed. | ![]() casholaa
16/4/2023 16:15 | Guaranteed the government always wastes tax payers money.... They save 100m in a project by spending 200m on shutting it down. | ![]() owenski
16/4/2023 14:38 | The Government has to leave motorways in a safe state for users. They'll have to pay to undo their motorway smartness... The Government will be smarting from this come election time | ![]() casholaa
16/4/2023 14:33 | Some of you guys really are desperate for the shares to go down. Are you short are just eager buyers dreaming of a lower entry point? | ![]() spooky |
