The new broker looks interesting. The GSA is a thing of uncertain timing and value .......if taken in isolation ( and it is the only important development for many private investors in Coro) there is no need for funding......BUT the two Philippine renewable projects are massive and I know that management do seem committed to seeing them through to completion with 75% finance......they could sell them for c. $30m-$40m at RTB stage .....again no funding required with the RTB sales. The total cost of both project is a very chunky $275m so c.$205 of funding required ....but could CORO come up with the remaining $70m ?Not sure about the exact funding and finance but it gives a very possible reason for employing the new brokers.

The new Broker appointment timing is strange. We have been waiting well over a year for the GSA.

On the other hand, we were told in the last RNS that we are well funded, so surely we don't need a placing.

Maybe the intention is to generate new institutional investors?

knowing our luck, the second broker is to get a placing away as the Duyung money wont be in our coffers in time for loan notes

Good point. It seems that we are inching our way towards the GSA.

The fairly recent Proactive investor interview with Coro's CFO indicated that it should be before the end of 2023 that we get to know the figures for sales and so what the 15% is worth. Perhaps the appointment of extra brokers is a an indication that this remains on schedule.

Coro Energy PLC, the South East Asian energy company with a natural gas and clean energy portfolio, announces the appointment of Hybridan as joint broker to the Company with immediate effect. The appointment is part of a series of actions the Company is initiating to increase research coverage in anticipation of the outcome of the Duyung PSC Operator's farm out/sale process, as announced on the 2nd May and further update of 12th September.

More interesting is the reason they have given for appointing a second broker the GSA/sale process.

RNS. Appointment of a joint broker. I must admit I have never heard of a company having two brokers before.

So now a near 25% fall in the last couple of weeks for no apparent reason other than the continuing absence of a GSA.Didn't Zak Miyr say 40p+ by end of Sept? Gotta love that charting malarkey

Strange amount of 3,827,000 x 5. Whatever they are the mm's seemed to get wind of them when they dropped the bid half an hour before they became visible to us mushrooms.

n addition Conrad engaged a global investment bank to lead a farm-down process for the divestment of a portion of its interest in the Duyung Production Sharing Contract. Coro, which holds a 15.0% interest in the Duyung PSC, may participate pro rata in the farm-down process as various drag and tag-along clauses exist in the Joint Operating Agreement. Coro may also entertain a full exit, depending on the terms offered.
