TTF jumped nearly 30% today! Very strange. Only at Euro39/MWh but quite an increase!

I'm very close to giving up with this.

The pipeline is 150MW and Coro hope that with the help of their new partner they will achieve this.

Capton appear to be up for 50MW for starters and not unreasonably will be wanting to see how that goes.

We don't know the terms of the partnership so 50% / 30% are meaningless.

In what universe did you think that a company the size of Coro could build out a 150MW scheme without finance?

Who is going to lend large sums to a company the size of Coro without collateral ?

Duyung, Duyung was the faint and fading cry.....where are you Duyung ?

It could be that this deal involves Capton providing finance and separately buying into the business....in any ratio...????

Without this deal the best Coro could do is finish the second solar purchase then use the two existing installations as collateral and borrow a few million ....do another two deal and go round again.....this would make for slow progress.

Where do you get the 50% from Man? I might have missed it from somewhere but it's not in the RNS.That will I presume be part of the bun fight during the exclusivity period.

Well from the swipe of a pen / partnership, we have went from 100% of 150 mw to 50% ..so let's see what happens come December ...

That's my point . MC never said depending on finances. Coro will do blah blah .. The statement just said we look forward to rapidly expanding, and I'm sure some on these boards suggested with grants etc , it would require little cash and be self funding. I agree with you that it will be 100% beneficial to Coro. I am just saying keep the news real . If you asked MC if you don't reach 50mw by this time next year or ur suggested 150 mw in 21/2 years will you resign . I'm sure he will say err ...if we don't make 15/20 mw by next year but it depends on outside forces ..

A year ago people were expecting the GSA and the cash that goes with it.

MC and Coro have been doing things on a shoestring and the second Vietnam solar was an amazing deal that cost little upfront cash (just as well as they had little upfront cash).

Coro are now going to monetise the work, time and effort put in here....a really big deal for a company this size......ignored/dismissed by most.

Have you read these bbs ??.....people here are not interested in renewables and the share price has been trashed for a very long time.

"should have give more detail on the deal" they have been in negotiations for months and more detailed work to be done.....what piece of sensitive info would you have liked him to give you ??

I think it disappointing that Michael had to talk such bull during his interview and should have give more detail on the deal. A year on from our first 3.25 mw when he stated he looked forward to rapidly expanding the solar portfolio. Since then we have added naff all to it. So is he now suggesting we have at least 15 projects ready to go in order to meet his rough schedule of 2 and half years.. The MM have shown there belief in him with the share price. Shame really ad I do believe it has potential .

digger2779 (other bb), thanks for that.

Michael Carrington and I certainly "sing from the same sheet" and once again he comes across as focused, straight dealing and on the ball.

The figures mentioned are impressive .....even to the most sceptical of (fossil) investors !!???

10owen, yes a lot going on and that doesn't include the GSA.
The Italian gas sale is moving forward (slowly) but government officials aren't speedy in most countries.
CORO must have a share of current profits as the sale hasn't completed but I understand that there is money in the business (over and above the agreed purchase price)that will be due to Coro on completion and this could be "substantial".....I take this to be payment for gas made after the deal was signed and working capital in the business.
As per the sales agreement CORO can't take any money out until the deal is completed......hopefully late Q3 or into Q4.

The second Vietnam solar deal is due to complete and the Capton Energy deal completion looks like early November.

The legal claim is likely to rumble on ....possibly for years but Coro looks to have a strong case.

GSA !!???????

GSA aside there is plenty going on and it all looks very good for CORO.

Let's hope so. But with every quarter which slips by the elephant is getting closer to the room. This makes me slightly nervous.

Theres a lot to look forward to here.As well as the latest tie up with Capton Energy we have GSA news sale of our Italian assets and we are 6 months into the claim for damages against an Italian sub contractor. All the above concluded hopefully in Q3 and Q4 this year.Cant see the share price being anywhere near these levels by the year end hence been adding a good few more. Its been quite a wait for a good run of positive news flow but hopefully that's about to change soon.Gla.

Looks the real deal and a very good fit for both.

In addition:

Although this has been largely ignored (no surprise)....three years ago CORO bought 10% of a small company ION Ventures for £500k ...this is now worth £1.5m-£2m...look it up.

The interesting thing here is that ion ventures has a number of battery storage sites in SE Asia....just sites no batteries ....but as part of the deal CORO gets first dibs on these Asian sites.

If you are going to have renewable energy supply you need battery backup so there will be value there....over and above the £1.5m-£2m

Oh! How rude?

Touch of the Parsons at Corcel.

These "partners" are presented and then disappeared with not another mention.

Same MO. It seems to be acceptable to the mug punter.

Probably what has delayed a new Q3 update at Coro and another go at predicting a GSA date.

Don't hold your breath. Many have died here doing that in recent years.

Be careful.

I know that most investors here are in complete denial when it comes to the massive importance of renewable to the company they have invested in but surely even the most avid fossil fan can't ignore this.

It would appear that CORO have been approached by Capton Energy, based in Dubai, is a joint venture between Siemens Financial Services and Desert Technologies. The platform is focused on Energy Transition infrastructure in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

They are talking about an initial 50MW the cost of which would be close to $40m ....I don't know if people have noticed but the TOTAL market cap of Coro is under $10m.

It looks like CORO are going to leverage their current Vietnam Solar, their joint venture with their highly regarded and highly competent installer in Vietnam and all the grunt and ground work that management have put in over the last three years building up a pipeline of projects.....quite a bit of value in that especially when "The Money" wants in.......and they can say that they are decarbonising a country/region that burns coal.

This may lead to similar deal with the Philippine solar and wind projects .....obviously too big for CORO to go alone but RTB status is very , very valuable.
Just to give the disinterested some sort of an idea...Coro could sell these RTB projects for as much as $40m and walk away.

Today's possible deal must show what the potential is and the value to CORO.

Edit: just spotted the last bit of my post from three days ago.......you heard it first here folks !!!

RNS is of little value or relevance as says nothing really, just a bit of PR puff for both parties & I expect it will have the usual CORO RNS effect & take the share price down.We do seem to have attracted yet another committed seller of late but I've been surprised by how well the bid has held up as they seem intent on nagging on the bid with regular(ish) sells.
