Yes, the whole thing looks good.

Sign up the agreed power purchase THEN instal the panels.

This project envisages 150 MW or 50 agreements of this size.
They are in partnership with a local company so installations should move at a pace.

The more you instal the greater the revenue the cheaper any subsequent funding requirements.....banks/lenders love this sort of arrangement.

See the report ....Vietnam has only 1.8% renewables... lowest in the region (world ?) and burns a large amount of coal....under pressure to change ??!!

I must repeat that I came here via the Italian gas (deal of this and any other century) and have had a long ,close look at the renewables....yes the offshore gas is a big thing ....transformational.... but not where this company is going.

I have seen long term holders say ...."just give me the money and I'm off"...which is a perfectly valid approach but I don't think that people solely focused on the offshore gas should dismiss or try to diminish the renewable energy side of the company.

Coro would seem to have a first mover advantage in SE Asia and when you read the above report it is obvious that there is a lot to go for.

Buz...agreed, doesn't even say when they expect to complete the installation and therefore date of first receipt of payment.

It does say this is for 3MW out of 5MW to be installed, so another 40% on top of the stated revenues, but don't forget there is a 1% escalator which over 25 years will affect the total revenue quite a bit, so initial revenue is 0.07x3,000,000 = $210,000 I reckon, add 40% = $350,000pa

Are they taking all the power from the project or part of it.

At 9mn it works out at 360k a year less than one months revenue from Italian gas.

How much did the project cost, so what is the profit element?

My thoughts exactly. I think the risk of signing a long term deal is pretty much all on the buyers side at the moment.

He also said it will be signed when it will be signed...I am sure Conrad are working their socks off to get signatures on paper.

Maybe the buyers are also conscious of the fact that they are signing contracts when gas prices are very high, so they have to weigh up the risk of paying too much and bankrupting themselves or not paying enough and somebody else signs the contract!

I am almost 100% certain it will be signed this...year!!
