Not heard the expression before, but a quick google resulted in:

....used to say that someone is in a very good situation and is likely to be successful

Dyung wasn’t mentioned as it’s about to be released. Maybe tomorrow but def Tuesday. As for “helpful”; nor really sure why he is continually “warning”; people. Maybe take your own advice and sell out if your so concerned? €5mil free cash from Italian, and selling Dyung makes coro debt free and revenue generating at a mcap of £10mil. Yes, be careful

Oh! How rude?

The sale of the Italian assets? The reason that Coro Energy has the Italian assets at the moment is due to the fact that they couldn't sell them. Tried twice and couldn't. Virtually gave them away. The bureaucracy is stifling in Italy. A third attempt might be embarrassing. There are ways but it is not going to happen anytime soon.

A RNS from CIS Merchant Capital Partners today noted the Completion of the Debt Restructuring at Coro Energy.

Re-iterated:

"Coro will continue to actively pursue and support Conrad Asia Energy LTD (the operator of the Duyung PSC) to pursue the sale of the Duyung PSC asset"

I think the sale of the Duyung asset ASAP is the more likely scenario. The pressure on Coro coming from the bond/debt holders. The sale before (impossible) development costs in the next two years. Any major funding would more likely come from CIP/ Lombard, cornerstone investors, and I don't think they are keen.

Be careful.

Fist of all I must say that things continue to look very good for Coro but the recent interview was rather strange.

Yes the Italian gas is great and the advances in Vietnam are equally very good but ....hmmmm...Duyung !!!???

He almost brushed this aside....."well we have the debt sorted so we can forget about it for the next two years"......I don't think so.

The Italian gas should provide bumper cash flow but the large scale renewable project (very close to his heart) will require significant capital even if funds are raised elsewhere the priming capital required will be multiples of the current market cap.
In addition if they hold onto Duyung then they will have large development cost (c. $40m for their share).

The very least that Coro can do is sell down their share to fund the development costs but I strongly suspect that an outright sale is more likely.

Obviously there is a mismatch between a £10m (micro cap) and the projects they envisage completing in SE Asia.

Another possible route would be to get the Italian gas flowing then sell the lot for much gold....certainly more than the original £300k!!

So plenty of options and certainly no pressure.

I think Duyung and the Italian assets are worth many multiples of the current market cap but neither is particularly close to the heart of management and they will be used to raise cash for the renewables programme.

Interesting no mention whatsoever on Dyung. Especially when asked if there was anything else Hood wanted to share with investors. I have a feeling GSA is inbound. Not mentioning the most important, significant short term value driver. Interesting

Tom Kelly said this week the GSA will get signed when it gets signed and Mark Hood said we are golden!!!! He's too young to have been to woodstock!!!

The above does not fill me with confidence that it's coming anytime soon.

As I said previously hard ball being played!

On the other hand the values mentioned on Telegram are very exciting!!

Oh! How rude?

The large shareholder had about 300,000,000 shares. 112,500,000 Placing Shares were bought at 0.4p in the cash raise last February. It will be interesting to see if there are many more to come. The large shareholder, Lombard Odier, is also the €11,500,000 Tranche B debt holder.

Be careful.
