04/6/2021 18:00 | "Quick look at their recent accounts, are they not going to be needing money very soon?" Good question to which the following may prove useful: This only in the last 15 months: December 2019 - £830,000 placing April 2020 - £470,000 placing June 2020 - £220,000 placing October 2020 - £750,000 placing February 2021 - £300,000 placing And therefore one has to ask: 6 monthly "Admin costs" £493k. Loss for the six months £526k Cash at bank at 31 dec 2020 £180k. Cash raised so far - squillions. Net cash flows from operations (outflow) £536,000 Divided by six is circa £90k a month cash burn rate. | ![]() kemche
04/6/2021 17:58 | Helpfull3 Jun '21 - 12:33 - 1375 of 1400 0 1 0 How close is the next fundraise? At the start of 2021 Corcel had £180,000 cash. Corcel raised £300,000 gross on the 18th February 2021 which costs of 10% would bring down to £270,000. Exercise of warrants in April and May 2021 brought in £686,736. Total cash funds would be £1,166,736. There are costs though. Administration costs of £493,000 can be expected for the half year to 30th June 2021. Same as first half £150,000 was paid for 40% interest in the Tring Road peaker project. £72,000 was paid for exclusivity at the Avonmouth peaker project. £100,000 exploration costs at least can be expected from Mambare (£205,000 for last full year). And only £200,000 was received to the accounts from the 12th May 2021 warrant exercise, not £300,000. "£200,000 of these proceeds have been credited to the Company's account with the balance having been netted off and utilized to repay in full the loan facility originally announced on 18 February 2021". That gives a present cash figure for end June 2021 of about £251,736. But the company must be forward looking. Expected costs for the next six months include: £493,000(admin), £100,000(exploration costs), another £72,000(Avonmouth?) and perhaps £286,756 (loan repayment on 23rd December 2021 + 8% int). That comes to minus £700,020 at end of December 2021. The next cash raise, as always with Corcel, is imminent. Be careful. | ![]() kemche

04/6/2021 11:40 | "Direct Shipping Ore Opportunity In June 2014, RMC announced a Direct Shipping Ore Exploration Target for the Company’s Wowo Gap Nickel Laterite Project of 40 to 60 million tonnes at 1.6% to 1.8% Ni. ... The Exploration Target was identified following a review of the existing exploration and drill hole data, which demonstrated that elevated Ni grades tend to occur at the base of the auger core drill holes, which were drilled to test the softer limonite zone overlying the rocky saprolite layer beneath. This suggested the Ni grade of the underlying saprolite ore is likely to be higher in grade than the overlying limonite ore." The high cost of building a processing plant tends to be the major cost of mine development, so a direct shipping ore operation would make this project far cheaper and faster to bring into production. A 2008 scoping study favoured a mine development option costing as little as US$300M., a fraction of the billions claimed by a serial liar troll on the troll thread. For a project of this potential size and profitability, that cost is comparatively small beer. Also very exciting is the potential for far higher nickel grades on this project: a grade of 1.8% nickel would be in the high-grade nickel ore category: "All nickel ores have relatively low nickel content, the classification is as follows: high-grade nickel ore has Ni content greater than 1.8%, middle-grade nickel ore has Ni content between 1.3-1.7%, low-grade nickel ore has Ni content between 0.6-1.2%. Nickel is continuously mined, even at these low percentages of ores, because it is in high demand." | ![]() hedgehog 100
