lse CRCL comments of the week

3. "I’d recommend a buyback over dividends"

2. "If corcel starts share buybacks that could neutralise the warrant shares"

1. "We could RTO it [the Canegrass exploration tenement] on the ASX. I have yet to see an RTO that was negative for shareholders. Lets see what these rock chip samples show"

QQ. If I bought at 0.5 this AM and "the price went up" as you said, how much profit excluding dealing fees would I make when the price is 0.48?

Take your time.

Z1CO, thanks for posting the quote, we can see from that they're using column in the sense of a reservoir formation not 'oil column' which you mistook it for. No well test means no idea yet if there's any producable oil there.

The Angolans are using this work programme (on the country's only onshore oilfield) as marketing to drum up interest for other onshore bids. Anyone can see that.

How many times have we seen over the years after drilling that those "shows" become non commercial"?But hey, you might get lucky. Odds stacked against though imo.

Nice try DDR

The Operator, Sonangol, has advised Corcel that the Tobias-13 well penetrated the entire Binga reservoir section (120m column).

The drilling results for the TO-13 well were positive, with oil shows found throughout the Binga reservoir.

Did they actually find a '120m oil column'?

Or did the RNS say 'oil shows' in potentially productive zones encountered in intervals over a 120m section.

This was known pre-drill, it merely confirmed historic logs. Don't forget this field was drilled out and shut-in thirty years ago due to being uneconomic. The reality is it needs horizontal drilling and artificial lift to extract the leftover volume at a rate to make it viable.

Colin 1 already drilled and has a 120m oil column. The well will be flow tested after Colin 2 which is being drilled.

These Colins peak production was 17500 bbls/d.

It will certainly be very interesting how much they guuuuushhhh when flow tested.

Oil sold will be transformational for this very small company.

I fear these Colins will go the "McCrae" route.

I feel PB is deliberately being an anti-whoosher knowing full well that both the Colins are gushers with more Colins on the way. We also know that the Leni venture will also be a huge success as all other Leni ventures have proven to be.

If he chooses to deliberately forego the whooshes than that is his problem.

Meanwhile I continue to average down.

Doggy stop playing imaginary games and start worrying about your dog shares debt.

Your dog company can't even pay the interest due on it's debt.

Your dog company will go bust because it won't be able to pay the debt.
