' 'blessings - 2 Apr'06 - 23:42 - 541 of 609 .Definition:bull trap A situation that occurs when prices break above a significant level and generate a buy signal, but suddenly reverse course and negate the buy signal, thus "trapping" the bulls that acted on the signal with losses.' 'blessings - 3 Apr'06 - 08:49 - 543 of 609 "Among the businessmen in the elite network, a Belgian national, George Forrest, pioneered the exploitative joint venture agreements between private companies and Gécamines. Mr. Forrest owes his commercial ascendancy to his long-standing ties to the establishment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. One of his companies also makes and markets military equipment. Since 1994, he has owned 100 per cent of New Lachaussée in Belgium, which is a leading manufacturer of cartridge casings, grenades, light weapons and cannon launchers. In a flagrant conflict of interest, Mr. Forrest was appointed Chairman of Gécamines from November 1999 to August 2001 while his private companies negotiated new contracts with the explicit intention of using Gécamines' assets for personal gain. During that time he built up the most wide-ranging private mining portfolio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He benefits from strong backing from some political quarters in Belgium where some of his companies are based. His operations have been strongly criticized (one Belgian diplomatic cable referred to Mr. Forrest running a "strategy of attrition" in the mining sector of the Democratic Republic of the Congo) and have recently come under the scrutiny of the Belgian Senate's investigation into resource exploitation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. " 'blessings - 3 Apr'06 - 09:56 - 544 of 609 Another link for which to gain some FACTUAL background on the DRC. Elections shortly..... Communications and Infrastructure The infrastructure of the DRC has been adversely affected by the conflict in the country. Many facilities have been damaged or are too dangerous to use. Natural disasters such as flooding and the eruption of volcanoes have added to the destruction and dereliction of much of the country's infrastructure. ' | pinhead3
04/4/2006 19:09 | I've updated the header on the thread for the upcoming placement, Kinsenda upgrade & 'New Site'. My conservative estimates based upon the existing assets are. End 2006 £2.10-£2.45 End 2007 £2.95+ End 2008 £4.45+ 2008+ £6.55+ As far as tomorrow goes I would think that with the relatively low number of shares in free issue a intra day increase of 20% is not out of the question. I have the same good feeling about CRC that I had last August with VOG. | pinhead3

04/4/2006 17:39 | The upgrade in the classification of Kinsenda resources to the Measured and Indicated categories and the simultaneous identification of the major new block exploration target is exciting news for CRC as it could potentially double the life of the Kinsenda mine at currently planned mining rates, or could allow a large increase in planned production. SIMPLY KINSENDA RESOURCE IS UPGRADED AND THE COMPANY ARE VERY POSITIVE FROM EARLY RESULTS OF THE NEW DISCOVERY TO DOUBLE THE VALUE OF THE PROJECT THERE!! SO SIMPLY FROM PINHEADS NPV NOT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE PRESENT HUGE RISE IN COPPER PRICES WE HAVE A VALUE OF 255P JUST FOR THIS PROJECT. pihead3s research on the other thread is amazing and accurate. 2mrow will bring a lot of surprises- CURRENT DISCOUNTED VALUE = OVER £5 A SHARE | nikesh2
04/4/2006 17:29 | Huge news today & the copper price rose again to a new all time high. I will try & update the header tonight to factor all the new information including the new MMK site. £1 looks like it will be history after the news today. | pinhead3
04/4/2006 17:25 | Huge news, a big uplift in the Kinsenda mine a potential new site as big again! Esimtated copper content increased from 840,000 tonnes to 866,500 tonnes, an increase of 26,500 tonnes worth £145.75m to current prices. Kinsenda production was estimated at 54,000 tonnes a year initial increasing to 100,000 tonnes with upgraded equipment on that basis, with a long term copper price, the NPV was 67%. Think how high it will be with a higher resource & the copper twice that level! The new site alone could add another £1.00 to the price, can't wait until tomorrow. And to think Hinoba-an & Lubembe are even bigger & we still have Misoshi & Haib! | pinhead3 |
