If you had eon your reserach, you will have realised that CRC is basicaly a buy and hold and very news driven. You will also note that it is very undervalued, by a factor of ten.

Traders beware, nothing wrong in taking profits except when money is left on the table and it's extremely hard, not to say expensive, in rejoining.
And with good newsflow due anytime an idiotic risk to take if you believe in the multiples this stock will see.

can actually only buy 1000 online,can sell my 33000 for 97,did say we'd be over 100p today,remember that post re a broker commenting these could be worth over £15.Well bloomberg comment reckons theres a serious shortfall of copper and the mexico strikes are threatening the market in a big way.

Who said this would trend down to the placing price? They don't even deserve to be let out of school with their pocket money! This has 200p all over it by end of year. We will win the 100% stock challenge! (currently at number 6 - I don't mind losing to EME!!)

Another stunning day on the copper market, hit another record high.
From the FT.

'Three-month copper rose 3.7 per cent to $5,590 a tonne after it hit a record of $5,605 on supply concerns.

The on-going strike action at Gupo Mexico and Southern Copper's La Caridad copper mine in Mexico has widened to include workers at the Sicartsa and Mittal steel mills.

Analysts at Macquarie said that six months ago it looked as if the refined copper market would be in surplus by about 380,000 tonnes in 2006 but that now a deficit of 50,000 tonnes was likely.

"This has major implications for prices. With copper stocks still chronically tight, the continuing delays in the delivery of supplies mean we can expect prices to hold at least at current levels through the remainder of 2006," said Macquarie.'

I agree with however it was who said there is someone accumulating big time. The small sells are just being absorbed and the price evn ticks up after a sell. Someone wants your shares.
