Now you're waking up to what I've been saying all along. There's no way the market cap of a producing miner with such 'supposed' assets would have stayed this low. They made many jam tomorrow schedules, then tomorrow came, and the information flow mysteriously dried up.

Could the hold up be waiting for the multi-national to finish it’s industrial scale trial, trans ore to sort logistics, or other off take discussions to conclude, possibly several may come good, also there is the unwashed coal to, update would be good.

Are you sure, I mean absolutely sure, that those things are in place though? I've seen several African miners that were fully equipped, all permits in place etc, then suddenly they announce that wasn't the case at all, and yet more funding is being sought. Always a pre-curser to being de-listed as well, strangely. Hope that's not the case here.

How can such a huge coal asset with full permit to mine, fail to get mined and sold.The equipment is there to mine. Equipment is installed to wash and process coal at a limited but adequate rate.So what's the hold up?Poor management?

Yes I know I was holding. They had the mineworks all but set up he claimed and were ready to start production at 10Koz's/yr moving up to 30K oz's in double quick time and we were all going to be rich off the back of it then he just changed his mind because he didn't want to put the last of the site together just in case they put the works canteen on a piece of land with gold under it or some such thing.
Never heard so much dribble, well not until the excuses for not selling coal began anyway.

Trading resumed shortly after 11 am.
Not sure when the halt started.

Very unusual. I thought news may be on way.

New Offtake Arrangement and Operational Update


Contango Holdings Plc, the London listed natural resource development company, is pleased to announce it has entered into a new offtake arrangement with TransOre International FZE ("TransOre") for the sale of up to 20,000 tonnes per month of washed coking coal (the "TransOre Contract") from its flagship Lubu Project in Zimbabwe, known as the Muchesu Project ("Muchesu") in country and will be referenced as such going forward.....

TransOre will take the coal currently being produced from the upper seams at Muchesu at mine gate at the MMCZ price and handle all logistics and transport costs, through its affiliate African Rail International FZE ("African Rail Company"), which has rail access, locomotives and port access for export already in place. TransOre currently holds an allocation for exporting coal through the Dry Bulk Terminal at the Maputo Port, Mozambique. TransOre has also expressed its interest in taking any additional coal that becomes available, either in the event of mine expansion or if the expected contract with the MNC does not materialise. "

Now coming up to Christmas and this supposedly wonderful TransOre company is still not taking any coal.
Yet more deceit from the incompetent Esprey. Simply can't be trusted. A great asset being screwed up by it's own CEO.

A report from the energy data organisation, global energy monitor, found that China permitted more new coal power plants last year, the equivalent of two per week. Crea reports China new coal power spree continues to expand into the first half of 2023, this means China is accelerating coal power capacity in the current five year plan 2021-2025.

The company announced in October, that it had entered into an agreement with a leading steel producer, for an industrial trial, that’s following on from detailed due diligence they have already done. Furthermore the company is in discussions with several other potential off-take partners, both for coking coal, and unwashed coal, and expects to announce additional off take agreements.
