On the basis that Market sentiment towards Gold & microcap Gold stocks could be 99% wrong ,then what price for some come August if the Market decides
that 99% is an absurdity !!?

I certainly now suspect that a firm $1300 Gold will be potentially far more explosive than $1600- $1900 was.

Being a mining company would drain cash away from Director emoluments. Scary stuff.

Seamus Fitzpatrick is a class act but his financial interests are in Capvest. And so they should be.

People here don't seem to even know that Fitzer is Prof Conroy's nephew. That's the reason he has been slipping a few coppers in the direction of the Prof.

I think a starting date for actually getting gold out of the ground remains crucial. I don't know how CGNR will cope with actually being a mining company.

a clear-out would see this multi-bag.

All it took for the share price to have a large rise was a threat to the bod. Further proof (not that it's needed) that the market despises the bod.

In my view they have a plan for cgnr, which will be linked to kdr (I could be wrong). I wouldn't want pj getting in the way of that. That said he was buying kdr and ramping kdr about a year ago.

I would far rather someone with no reputation who gets things done.

No idea, but for me his reputation alone carries some weight... I just think PJ would be a mistake on the board....That said maybe this will be a wake up call for them, as shareholder communication/ progress has been abysmal with cgnr for some time now.

Google him and Capvest, I think he is rather successful.

I did (Will) see if G5 is somehow related to the present management by his past (present) observations ??? not in the bad way btw

lokking at cgnr reality (results) he is bellow average.he is here long enough to proof his (un)competence. I do not care if he is a superman elsewhere. why should I as a cgnr shareholder?

Anyone who would look to get rid of S Fitz from the board is nuts...He is a top man.

Patrick O'Sullivan Has 3,000,000 reasons why He wants to see Conroy move forward.

Most certainly the time is going to be right,as Gold gradually breaks out and heads
once again to beyond $1900.

Hopefully He knows that Gold anything will be in the spotlight, most certainly from
July onwards into whatever carnage Confetti Currencies will be facing this fall.

Apart from what things could happen- an improved investor appetite to increases to a possible 5,000,000 Ounces in the ground will do no harm.

A Gold stock with some believable 600,000 ounces and potential mining would have to
come up with some true disaster to not be worth some muliple of £2 Million Market Cap !!!

Gawd knows what the Market will eventually value 5 Million ounces,so a lot of "potentials" for such a microcap.

IMHO

Is that Johnson formerly of MTR - the crowd that invested in CGNR about a year ago? If it is we are going out of the frying pan and into the fire!

Nevertheless, this could be the kick up the hole the bod needs.

Huge warning to everyone to expect another super-duper "we have a plan" RNS from Conroy. If there's no timeframe it can be ignored. If it does contain one I absolutely guarantee the timeframe will not be met.

I always thought that O´Sullivan was a ´Conroy man´ through and through.
Perhaps times they are a-changing.....

Well, something's happening ...

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR, ESM: CGNR.I), the gold exploration and development company focused on Ireland and Finland, today announces that it received communication on 8 June 2017 regarding a requisition for a General Meeting to remove certain directors of the Company, being Seamus FitzPatrick (Non-executive Deputy Chairman), James Jones (Finance Director), Dr Sorca Conroy (Non-executive Director), Louis Maguire (Non-executive Director), Michael Power (Non-executive Director) and David Wathen (Non-executive Director) and appoint as new directors Patrick O’Sullivan, Paul Johnson and Gervaise Heddle.

The Board is taking advice in relation to the requisition.

The Helsinki District Court has sentenced ex-CEO of the bankrupt Talvivaara Mining Company, Pekka Perä, to a fine and an eight-month suspended prison term for providing false or misleading information about nickel production forecasts.

False or misleading information fed to markets

The cases turned on production forecasts that the company provided to the stock market. The court ruled that some of the information relating to nickel production forecasts that Talvivaara provided to the markets in 2012 and 2013 was either false or misleading. The court ruled that the information provided about the production forecasts was not realistic, nor was it likely to be realised.

Lesson to learn :

No such thing as " INVESTMENT " on aim.

Pure and simply " TIMING "

Time that buy after x years right at the low.

Select the stocks that have bottomed and see where the market may be wrong.
Dont select the stocks which are very very high because people think they are an " INVESTMENT "

Why has Conroy never sunk a mine? Why has it never tried to excavate the resource it so repeatedly claims it has mapped? Why has it never attracted third party interest? Why is it still no further forward in commercialising its enterprise than it was over 10 years ago? Why does it always report on possibilities, never on actualities?

And why is the Prof still in charge?

I've contributed periodically to this BB with the same message: anyone who invests in this company is a 24 carat mug.
