you lot should look at marl - 1 million ounces (and will be upgraded in next couple of months) at 11.8 g/t. Cashed up for current drill programme. All for £12 million.

Being in Canada with a low Canadian $ v US $, those Chalice costs will be lower now.
================

This is true Andy but that is a variable that can easily go the other way over the long years of a mines life. I would rather have my production advantage in-built with a very low AISC.

As for they got it cheap at $6/oz, I agree S6/oz appears very cheap. But that's not the whole story. I'm sure there are goldfields out there with 2m oz but with AISC at $1300/oz, which means you could probably buy that 'asset' for $0.5/oz. It sounds stunningly cheap, but it doesn't make it a great deal with gold prices sub $1,150/oz.

People think grade is king, it isn't. It's what good grades generally leads too. IE, AISC is king, and CNR's is $160/oz better than Challices purchase, which is a huge difference when dealing with a million or more oz's.

Tem,

"Importantly you must consider the difference in AISC which is key.
CNR's <$700/oz v $852/oz. Lets say $160/oz difference."

---

Being in Canada with a low Canadian $ v US $, those Chalice costs will be lower now.

Like I said, everybody thinks their deposit is the best, whereas in reality they all have positives and negatives, and the chalice purchase at $6 er ounce is certainly in bargain territory, IMO.

Let's hope the POG rises to make them all look cheap and we might start making money again.

harebridge,

No proof then. At least you've gone from 'nobody is interested in buying the company' to 'there were no offers' (reported).

If anything it has been a dump 'n pump.

Andy,

if you want to add in the inferred then

Cameron Gold Deposit Inferred 829K ounces of gold at 2.11 g/t

CNR -inferred mineral resource of 1.23M oz gold at 4.5g/t.
CNR also had 2.66M oz silver at 6g/t

Importantly you must consider the difference in AISC which is key.
CNR's <$700/oz v $852/oz. Lets say $160/oz difference.

Extrapolate that over the Cameron Gold Deposit 567k oz x 160 = $90million.
In other words if both businesses produced 567k of gold, CNR would give $90M more gross revenue.

Given CNR have 1.23M indicated then just the difference in extraction costs is 1.23m x 160 = $197M more gross revenue even if the Cameron Gold Deposit found 1.23M oz.

This is why imo CNR is far superior to the Cameron Gold Deposit which Challice did though, pick up very cheap.

Goneawol"What proof do you have that nobody was interested in buying the Company?"The share price at 17p told us.There were NO OFFERS! End of.Long suffering holders should stop misleading gullible newbies on here. This is a shameful pump 'n dump, orchestrated by a few for a reason that will be revealed.

Tem,

You ignored around 1 million ounces of inferred!

And those costs will be lower now as they have the advantage of having them in Canadian $ rather than US $.

That deal completed in 2014.

Harebridge,

Just because tw likes to state this as fact, doesn't make it so.

What proof do you have that nobody was interested in buying the Company? No one made an offer at that time, at a price acceptable to the board. It doesn't mean there isn't interest. The company was not for sale at 17p.

It maybe an offer will be forthcoming when the project is de-risked further, we just don't know.

Thanks Andy (and Gonawol)

Yes they do seemed to have bagged a bargain back in 2013. But even with this exceptional deal by Chalice there is a difference to CNR, in CNR’s favour.

Cameron Gold Deposit hosts M & I of 567,000 ounces of gold at 2.45 g/t
CNR - La India Project 1.1M oz gold @ 3.5g/t in Indicated Category

Coventry’s Cash cost of US$852/oz.
Significantly imo CNR’s - under US$700 oz gold

Initial development and capital expenditure both came in at aboutUS$110 million.

I guess for every example of sub $10/oz, there is probably another example of someone paying greater than $50/oz.

I see the Bulls couldn't answer the following:If nobody was interested in buying this company at 17p, why would anyone want to buy it now, after it has been pumped to this level?Astonishing, that anyone would want to buy shares in this- but that's what makes a market!
