20/1/2016 10:42 | Jibbo must be on shifts, on his paper round lol | usmcgs
20/1/2016 10:41 | Harebridge He has at least 3 obvious ones here?I have 2 on iii, but for valid reasons as I have 2 trading accounts and it depends on which I am logged onto. I am also open about it and do not attempt to hide the fact. The 3 I know of here are pretty obvious by what he says. He is just a ramping troll that has been caught out and got his fingers burnt. Pretty nasty bit of work. Running a ramping campaign via emails and asking others to come back under different ids. Of course I turned it down and now everyone who disagrees with him is me using multiple ids laughable really and also pot kettle black. | usmcgs
20/1/2016 10:39 | Harebridge,everyone except usmcgs but may I just say watch out for Mcgregor | cavendish234
20/1/2016 10:35 | Steeplejack isn't that what they have been attempting? | usmcgs
20/1/2016 10:20 | Can someone put up a list of all of Jibbo's usernames. Thanks. | ![]() harebridge
20/1/2016 10:04 | There is one option that remains open to shore up a stricken global economy. You devalue public debt by printing money. That conjures up images of the late 1970s and a rather frisky gold price. | ![]() steeplejack
20/1/2016 09:33 | usmcgs 20 Jan'16 - 09:29 - 12035 of 12035 0 0 Jibbo is out in force lol --- Actually, apart from me, who isn't "jibbo", you are the only person posting here today! LOL! Maybe you are having "a Condor moment"? | ![]() andy
20/1/2016 09:29 | Jibbo is out in force lol Told you concentrate on the ramping. Your losing money. You must be used to seeing red by now lol | usmcgs
20/1/2016 08:24 | Tem, If you were around in the days when HAWK was declining from 110p to 2p a share, they had two brokers, and every serious decline was met with at least one of them issuing a note with a new higher target price! Broker notes cost around £5,000 to produce, and are designed to generate commission for the broker issuing the note.. They are often published when a stock is in trouble to try and arrest the decline with some buying. Most broker notes are issued by house brokers, so hardly independent research. And then there are the commissioned "research notes" issued by the likes of Edison, GECR, and articles by Proactiveinvestors, Shareprophets et al! They often appear just before a placing to help raise the price. | ![]() andy
20/1/2016 08:18 | The slump continues | usmcgs
19/1/2016 22:52 | Temujiin Agreed they can be useful. I just wouldn't be relying on their recommendations. Not that you doGL | usmcgs
19/1/2016 22:18 | You're welcome and as it happens I agree with both of you that broker notes are mostly useless, although I find them interesting. I don't agree with the comment about only issued when a stock is in trouble, as they are issued in good times and bad. | ![]() temujiin
19/1/2016 21:56 | Tem, Thanks for posting that. I agree with the previous poster though, broker notes count for nothing and are designed to produce trades and commission for the broker concerned. They are often issued when a stock is in trouble...... | ![]() andy
19/1/2016 20:29 | Temujiin Thanks for that, although from what Ai have read the general concensus of opinion is broker recommendations are worth nothing. I do think that they are ok for getting a summary though. With ref Eia what is your opinion on it changing the share price Imo if it was going to make a difference I would have thought that the SR would have continued as parties would've been aware. Over the years I have lost count of the amount of reports that were going to make a difference | usmcgs
19/1/2016 18:58 | Beaufort- Condor Gold (CNR.L, 19.0p) - Speculative Buy Our view: Condor terminating FSP is a positive step taken by the company’s board. The fall in its share price does not reflect Condor’s real value and the stock remains undervalued. The low value of Condor’s market capitalisation does not do justice to the assets and resources held by the company. Condor’s wholly owned La India project has a resource estimate of around 18.1 million tonnes at 4.0g/t gold, comprising 2.32 million ounces of gold. Moreover, the pre-feasibility study and preliminary economic assessment undertaken by the company have increased contained gold within pit shells by 30% and raised the annual production by 25%. In addition, all-in sustaining costs are under US$700 per oz of gold. The company plans to continue with the development of La India and has applied for a permit to produce 100,000oz gold per annum from a single pit. We look forward to further progress at the project. Meanwhile, we maintain a Speculative Buy rating on the stock. | ![]() temujiin

19/1/2016 17:15 | People have short memories wrt Jim Mellon. Do they honestly believe that he will be the saviour of CNR!This man did some master trading here, bought at 0.5p & sold at about 9p (pre consolidation). He's in it for himself. He's done sweet FA for CNR or its shareholders. I hope he gets his fingers badly burnt here. | ![]() harebridge |
