The share price never rose so imo a sell but your correct it is historical

Whether you love or hate him I'm guessing that there will be a TW comment later and I don't suppose it will do the share price any good

Usmcgs, given the size of it, spread at the time and price achieved by the 10k seller just previous, it looks a buy as reported. But either way it's historical now.

Not sure an share price valuing CNR at $5/oz is anywhere right Steelpejack, but it is what it is and until a buyer(s) comes along that thinks the same and starts to snap up shares, then it will remain at a crazy $/oz valuation I guess.

Ironically as the global economy lurches towards another crisis,we can take solace that the banks are much better capitalised than before 2008.Regulation is the name of the game, undue risk has been eradicated, proprietary books shut. Now we have a swarm of "checkers" in the banks not reckless "doers".The corollary is that banks will only lend to those who don't need the money of course but at least our deposits are safe!Condor is a victim of this new order and the share price reflects as much. It's a real conundrum for in one sense the share price is right but in another it's ridiculously wrong.

So much for what the lse rampers were saying, that any offer would be based on the industry and not the share price

Gibbo changing his tune now and saying we were unlikely to get £1 lol

The trouble with these small exploration mining operations is that they often "fall below the radar " of the bigger producing miners.Simply too small to attract interest.More likely are joint ventures as smaller companies attempt to achieve a sort of financial critical mass by huddling together and hopefully that will happen here. The market is often a complete chump when it comes to valuing smaller companies especially if they are too small to enjoy widespread institutional support. This company is erroneously valued given its assets, extraction costs, relative worth as established by past takeover activity etc.The tide has gone out with the gold price.Sadly, you have to conclude that the "For Sale" process has been very badly marketed and everyone connected with Condor must share responsibility.I think MC is making the right decision to pull the process and wait for the climate to improve. It might not of course but for awhile at least, the company can feather along hoping for better times.

so what you are saying is that he has come out of SR to stop a low ball offer but that an offer could still come .........

"One has absolutely no doubt whatsoever that whilst Mark is undoubtedly disappointed with the current share price, he is no fool, evidently he does not wish to allow any of the potential suitors to make a silly low ball bid and then we'd have to waste both time and money defending against it. One remains confident in the extreme that Mark has a price in his head in excess of £1/share (at today's shares in issue). This share price was caused by the overhang created by CFC and CQS dumping for their own reasons. We have had more than a handful of site visits (allegedly twice by Newcrest) and the results of those visits still remains an open question, ending the formal sales process is a technical exercise, it in no way affects the possibility for a bid or JV offer resultant from those inspections.

We all ought to be buyers."

Andrew, evidently we aren't all buyers. Why would MC have to spend money defending a bid and could he? It doesn't matter what price MC has in his head if we can't get there. MC has stated we won't mine. There is going to come a time, in the not very distant future, that we will need money. As you stated we could still get a bid and at a silly price. We have therefore suffered for no reason
