Very surprised that this isn't dropping at a faster rate.Looks like most holders have bailed out now & written this off as it approaches 20p (1p pre consolidation). This has been an absolute nightmare.

Harold,

You highlight a common problem on this medium, whereby without being present with the person making a comment, and hearing the intonation, it's easy to misconstrue their true meaning.

Your comment came over to me in a different way that you intended, so apologies, there was no offence meant, I know you are a good investor and a decent guy.

I saw Mark talking to people yesterday and who knows what might transpire through a chance meeting at such a large mining show with people from all around the world attending?

Let's hope something positive results.....

Condor Gold (CNR.L, 30.50p) - Speculative Buy

Yesterday, Condor Gold (Condor) informed that it has completed an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and submitted an application for an Environmental Permit to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in Nicaragua (MARENA) for the construction and operation of an open pit mine at its processing plant at La India Project, located in Nicaragua. The EIA is a document pertaining to the environmental and social impacts of gold production from the La India Open Pit mine. In addition, the document includes environmental management plans and social management plans to monitor and control any such impacts.

Our view: The completion of EIA and submission of Environmental Permit is a positive development for Condor, as it takes them a step closer to obtain permitting licence for the gold mine. This was one of the main objectives set by the company for the year 2015. The La India Project is fully owned by the company with a resource estimate of around 18.1 million tonnes at 4.0g/t gold comprising of 2.32 million ounces of gold. As per the EIA report, the processing plant would have a capacity between 2,200 tonnes per day (tpd) to 2,800tpd. Using the plant at its lower end capacity, the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) showed 76,000 ounces (oz) of gold per annum (p.a) and the Whittle Optimisation indicated 91,000oz of gold p.a. In addition, the company has recently found a total of 33 exploration targets, with 23 of them having gold veining at the surface.

Furthermore, the geological setting from Tierra Blanca remains highly prospective and we expect the company to witness growth through the extension of high-grade gold mineralization. In view of the overall developments, we remain optimistic over the Condor’s future prospects and maintain a Speculative Buy rating on the stock.

I spoke to Mark today at mines and money and now retract my comment on him wasting money by presenting at mines and money. however Andy i do not think it was aggesive. he explained that people come from all over the world to mines and money and he did not have a stand but i noticed many people coming up to him to talk. his presentation showed his value compared with other companies take out prices as usual. one can only hope that one of the contacts made there might result in a bid.

Condor Gold (CNR LN) 31.5p, Mkt Cap £14.4m – Submission of application for Environmental approval at La India
 Condor Gold reports that it has submitted an application to the Nicaraguan Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources for an Environmental Permit to develop an open pit mine and CIL gold processing plant on its La India property. It is unclear how long the Ministry’s deliberations may take.
 The application indicates an operation to produce and treat between 800,000 to 1 million tpa of ore to produce around 100,000 oz pa of gold at an all-in-sustaining cost below $700/oz.
 Condor Gold points out that the “Environmental Permit is the key permit for mining in Nicaragua. Many other permits, such as the water management permit, are conditional upon the grant of an Environmental Permit.”
 The company notes that “two feeder pits and underground production will be permitted at a later stage and could increase annual gold production by over 50%”.
 We assume that these additional facilities will be the subject of separate applications at a later date, though if this initial permit is granted the Ministry will have acquired a detailed knowledge of the project and created a precedent which may well expedite subsequent applications.
Conclusion: Submitting an application for an Environmental Permit for La India is a landmark event for Condor Gold’s plans to reopen the mine. In September this year, the company indicated that securing the development capex of $110-169m was proving difficult in the current financing climate for junior miners and that it was considering options including a possible joint-venture or sale. Securing an Environmental Permit should advance the project whether the company seeks to develop La India on its own, or in joint venture, or sells the property to a third party developer.

AndyImo you are wrong. Much of what harebridge states is over played and scaremongering.Ref interested parties, Condor has a world class resort and even in this market those are selling at multiples. As an investor you try and choose the best entry and hence I am buying in stages. If you believe a deal will happen you buy and if not don't. With the number of companies interested and with what Condor has to offer I believe the percentage change of a deal happening is higher

8881cb,

I don't see that he has said anything out of turn, he's as entitled to express an opinion as you or I are.

I think his posts are quite reasonable for a horrid market, my expectation is Condoer will all further from here and unless MC can generate bid friction anyone interested will wait him out.

You or I would do the same, it's business.

You are not sorry at all. You are absolutely delighted to make further negative comments about CNR, which as usual are dreamt up in your fantasy world and have no basis in reality. Very sad. Filtered.

MC has stressed how much the government are behind CNR. Because of the offer period MC couldn't put anything inaccurate in the rns. Imo the companies looking at a deal would be used to the processes involved and wouldn't be putting time and money in now if they were overly worried about the processes being negative. The EIA process only takes a max 3 mths.We have had companies already completed site visits and they would have completed much of the donkey work ahead of site visits. More companies visiting before Christmas. Could be an offer at any time now

What company is going to buy CNR whilst the Environmental permit hasn't been sorted out?So several more months of uncertainty. I wonder what will happen to the share price during this period? There will be NO bidders during this period- they want certainty.I'm sorry to say, but this doesn't look good for the coming months.
