Next stop... ?!! It really is time that MC did something before this drops to zero. The man has done nothing to allay investor fears except attend presentations . He needs to show his worth and fast. I am not impressed at all.

Yes you could but the market normally focuses on the premium, we shall see.

30p breached, the drop continues to look precipitous.

In the 20's as I predicted. Where's Dishan. Hopefully he saved himself some money & got out whilst he could. This is still in free fall, hasn't even bottomed out yet. Pure capitulation here. Feel sad for those duped by Jibbo, Mark Child etc etc

Andy, it's another way of looking at a TO. You could say paid xyz % over targets SP, or say for example 'bought at $46/oz being $10/oz discount to the average peer price paid over the last year' etc.

The point I was trying to make is that TO's are better judged for comparison, by $/oz paid.

As for what MC can sell CNR for? Well the buyer doesn't have to justify the % increase over our SP,

Are you sure?

Why hasn't an offer been made?
Not even a cheeky one!

Surely it's because nobody is interested.
===================

Or maybe because they need to do site visits and due diligence. Just a wild guess :)

At this rate, if they wait until Xmas, they can have it for 0p

There will definitely be people interested, it's a world class gold reserve. Perhaps they think they can get it cheaper if they wait.

Usmcgs, certainly agree he hasn't help CNR's cause by stating that $56/oz was unlikely in the current climate. only plus I could think of was stoking up buyer interest, which it seems to have done :)

Lse trying to state that mc has said that he will only sell at around $56 ....... that is untrue

Temujiin I partly agree and thought about that but MC does seem to think that it would be a problem. Again I think he has put his feet in it and not happy doing it once he has stated if twice

I noticed the large 110,000 sell. Most likely our large seller and not a lot the company can do if someone is off-loading big time. Obviously puts off buyers until the trend looks like reversing.

As for what MC can sell CNR for? Well the buyer doesn't have to justify the % increase over our SP, he could also say for example 'bought at $46/oz being $10/oz less than the average price paid over the last year' etc

Andrew I am not sure that I agree and I am sure the market doesn't, looking at the share price and the response to this period. If no deal cones forth then they will need to go foward on production. They will struggle to raise sufficient funds and the dilution will heavy. Hence why MC is trying for a deal and not trying to appear desperate.

Yes I agree, a poor attempt at creating bid friction, IMO.

Potential suitors will see straight through that, they'll have a price they're reared to go to, there are many distressed projects out there.

One remains convinced we will get a deal but it'll be nearer the lowest end of my expectations (in fact it may be lower than that). One was hoping for $80-120m, so you can work it out for yourself.

If necessary, he will raise no more than £2m, this will get us fully permitted. After that is anyone's guess but that is what WILL happen.
