12/1/2015 22:36 | Gdxj looking very strong tonight along with the gold price . Disappointing to see Condor slip this afternoon .The momentum remains strong with the Gold and GDXJ rising , I know this rise happened at this time last year also and we have to see if the good news holds ? | ![]() saturdaygirl
12/1/2015 19:48 | Much bigger volume today. | jeanesy2
12/1/2015 16:13 | They are keeping the spread wide but you can now buy at 68 | usmcgs
12/1/2015 16:07 | usmcgs How do you know it's accurate? Are you certifying the bargain slips? If you do dummy trades it normally confirms that the trade data gives an erroneous impression. Its well appreciated that MMs employ two tactics. The obvious one being going up on the bid to buy stock in or Lower the price,go on the offer, to attract buyers.Yet plan B,dropping the price to spook weak holders or raising the pice to trigger a small stampede of momentum buyers are just as common.Trouble being ,that knowing which is which until after the event is not always that easy,as we all know......especially if you have a bloody wide spread as here! (Apologies for adding the third paragraph after your following post, not intended.) | ![]() steeplejack
12/1/2015 12:29 | Andrew You can get a very good idea by watching closely and doing plenty of dummy trades. Yes volume important | usmcgs1
12/1/2015 10:43 | usmcgs the question is how can you watch and interpret flawed data, the only true way of knowing is the general direction of the trend. So a rising price would normally suggest buyers and a falling, sellers, it's as simple as that (oh and you want decent volume to add substance to the trend). The trades data is not worth getting excited about really. | sir andrew ffoulkes
12/1/2015 09:57 | Some of the trades at 69, showing as sells, were buys but volume is interesting | usmcgs
12/1/2015 09:34 | steeplejack I am aware of that but have been watching and the reporting is fairly accurate currently | usmcgs
12/1/2015 09:24 | ADVFN tries to interpret which way the reported bargains are.Inevitably, sells get misconstrued as buys and sometimes visa versa, especially given the wide spread employed by MMs in relatively illiquid shares.Add delayed reports and the ADVFN trade data is the simplest and most flawed of guides. | ![]() steeplejack
12/1/2015 09:07 | sells 138k buys 41k Still up though ........ | usmcgs

09/1/2015 14:02 | molatovkid 9 Jan'15 - 13:21 - 10505 of 10506 0 0 I'll tell you exactly what has sparked this...there has been a buyer for weeks who always buy in round figures, check out the trades today - 42.5k in round figure trades. I'd love you to be correct, but IMVHO they are T traders. Always buy and sell in round figures or if it's going in the right direction - just roll em. | serious punter
09/1/2015 13:29 | A double bottom sound aesthetically correct. Any more bottoms, then I think it's best to call matron :)Good to see some upward movement, and it's certainly not attributed to the gold price. In the history of gold miners, has an excellent PFS ever had such a bad response on the markets? Personally I put it down to the sell on news brigade and the dampening of enthusiasm that came with the placement. Good company, great and heavily invested leadership, great assets and cash rich ... I sit and wait , but feel battered and bruised by the last 3 months | ![]() john6185
