11/9/2014 13:06 | V1d Hope all is well When do you believe hfs will be completed? | usmcgs
11/9/2014 12:25 | The point about the IFC being involved is that MC now has a BANK doing its Due Diligence at the same time that Condor proceeding towards the BFS. It does NOT preclude a sale immediately post PFS, but it does mean that MC has sent out a signal to would be acquirers that he is not hanging about. They have until 1Q2015 latest, and let them not think that, as far as Condor is concerned, it is necessarily a buyer's market. | v1d
11/9/2014 11:51 | A few games going on at the moment. The delayed trade of 24346, showing as a sell, was one of my purchases | usmcgs
11/9/2014 11:02 | Great volume again as well | usmcgs
11/9/2014 11:00 | The last few trades are buys @ above 95 | usmcgs
11/9/2014 10:48 | imo it funding now gives the share price a great chance of rising pre and post pfs | usmcgs
11/9/2014 10:36 | Looks like you have. Yes price creeping back up now funding issue sorted (and the insiders look to rebuild their positions?) | temujiin
11/9/2014 10:33 | Looks like I may have topped up just in time :) | usmcgs
11/9/2014 10:17 | Seeing as we are now funded to Q1 2015, do we next expect hfs to be completed by then? | usmcgs
11/9/2014 09:11 | psolomons, well said and illegal insider trading due to a placing is what I said a couple of days ago on a couple of BB's. If I was you write to the FSA with your concerns. I will as well but am off to Italy later today so haven't the time till I get back. Probably nowt will happen but we can't moan if we don't report. | temujiin
11/9/2014 09:07 | agree with you totally psolomons....this escapade has cost me many many thousands of pounds! Whilst I am 'happy' with the placing etc, people in the know have profited....it is scandalous...but nothing will be done...and it isn't just CNR. | warmsun
11/9/2014 09:06 | I'm afraid it's a fact of life, that brokers discern what sort of placing price is acceptable to the potential larger placees ahead of time.In reality, the placing has been all but done before the details of the placing are announced. Thus,it would be disingenuous to believe that the placing discount is a mere 3% odd,we all know that in practice the discount is a good deal larger. The IFC and Melon being involved is a feather in MC's hat.Similarly, the warrants exercise price being set at 145p is reassuringly high. That said, financing will only fund into the first quarter of 2015 so the market will necessarily look to discount the possibility of a further placing...unless of course,by that time, takeover prospects have started to harden. | steeplejack
11/9/2014 09:02 | All those worriers yesterday :¬( "In addition to the Placing, the Company is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement in principle with International Finance Corporation ("IFC"), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, for a proposed subscription of 3.9 million Units at the Placing Price to raise gross proceeds of approximately GBP3.51 million (the "IFC Subscription")." :¬) | au24
11/9/2014 09:01 | I'm with you on this psolomons - and as you say CNR is not an isolated case, this goes on all the time. However nothing PI's can do except take it on the chin and continue with arms tied behind our backs and legs shackled. Any wonder that many people think most bankers are the scourge of society much like the money lenders in Roman times. And another thing..... Stop stop it will waste my whole day. | rfv
11/9/2014 08:51 | Mr D No worries. My apologies also. One of the negatives of the internet is that posts can be misinterpreted. | usmcgs
11/9/2014 08:32 | The insider trading on this share over the last few days has been outrageous. The big drop on high volume the day before the half yearly report is nothing short of scandelous. Nothing is being said about it, everyone accepts it's part of 'city' life but it is criminal and as usual the PIs take the hit. The bare fact is that the information about the placing ect was leaked before being made public. There should be an investigation although we all know this level of curruptiuon will go completely unpunished. Rant over. | psolomons
11/9/2014 08:05 | I am surprised after yesterday's deal at £1 per share that the placing price is 90p however the fact that the warrants are exercisable at £1.44 shows where the people who are buying these shares think this is going. This in effect means that if they subscribe for their warrants they are paying well over £1 for the shares in this placing. Bringing in the IFC is very positive. Once again a very good deal done by Mark Child. Also more investment from Jim Mellon who is still sitting on a big loss on his Investment via Regent Pacific at £1.80. A big vote of confidence from Jim. | 888icb
11/9/2014 08:01 | USM, Apologies.. my post yesterday was written with my tongue firmly in my cheek Regards Mr D | mr dexy
11/9/2014 07:52 | Placing @ 90p to fund to Q1 2015 and another probable placing I expect this will drop below that price today. To me this means thee is no buyer after PFS | usmcgs
11/9/2014 07:43 | and the potential funder for developing the full mine in lieu of a sale perhaps: "In addition to the Placing, the Company is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement in principle with International Finance Corporation ("IFC"), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, for a proposed subscription of 3.9 million Units at the Placing Price to raise gross proceeds of approximately GBP3.51 million (the "IFC Subscription")." | sir andrew ffoulkes
11/9/2014 07:28 | RNS OUT - PLACING The share price action has now been explained IMHO. Excellent news. | serious punter
10/9/2014 21:58 | Who would have taken this advice at the time ? | saturdaygirl
10/9/2014 18:45 | You have to do the work in the background to go into production to maintain your negotiating position regarding a sale. I think a sale is the aim and always has been. It has taken longer than originally intended to get to PFS but we are arriving there with much more proven gold. I would not be worried by a small placing if that were required to get to BFS and if that does happen based on today's deal it won't be for less than £1. | 888icb
10/9/2014 18:35 | Mmh , things not going to plan here. Looks like the market is expecting a placement pretty soon. PFS is crucial here. Funding is definitely needed if we are to go to BFS. There seems to be alot of work done in the background to take us to production. I for one dont think that the company is going to try and sell itself but is here for the long term. It may take a long time before we see any decent shareprice here imo. The market seems to agree atmo. The only thing that can change things is if the company gets a serious offer - not likely with the shares now worth less than £1 ! | jeanesy2
10/9/2014 16:53 | Glad that there was a valid reason for the fall. However a shocking day all round for me. hey ho. | rfv |
