21/7/2014 10:33 | A little birdy told me that a detailed research report was coming from Rfc Ambrian. I expected it last week, but we should have something to digest soon. | john6185

18/7/2014 12:57 | zangdook = sorry, but to get this thread noticed as 'the correct one' | rhuvaal2
17/7/2014 18:40 | This is my contribution transposed from the "incorrect thread" A recent report stated we can expect a figure of 150p for an eventual take-out: However, the share price has been higher (exuberance no doubt) and suggestions earlier in the year were in the order of 260p. Serious comments appreciated TIA | rhuvaal2
17/7/2014 13:07 | bump to try to get this thread noticed. The two more active threads are ridiculously out of date, they don't even have the company's name right. | zangdook
17/7/2014 13:02 | Oh I see there is a proper thread with the correct title, website etc. Why are people still using this one? Yes, it has more stuff in the header but it's all completely out of date and/or wrong. | zangdook
17/7/2014 13:00 | I wonder if someone will consider setting up a new thread for this. on the up seems to have disappeared, and his thread title has the wrong company name and his company website link doesn't work and everything else is out of date. | zangdook

10/7/2014 13:52 | Looks like the 'bird' is getting ready for lift off ! | jeanesy2
10/7/2014 13:16 | Those figures are based on 54M shares. If the company were sold before fund raising (which is needed for BFS) then we're looking at higher figure per share. Numis's suggested takeover price is £75M for the business at PFS. | drradcliffe
10/7/2014 12:29 | Its moved up nearly 5% on a tiny volume of just 40000. If we get some serious volume then this will move quickly as we know from past experience. The report last week from Numis gave a target of 110p and suggested a takeover price of 150p. Personally I think a takeover figure would be considerably higher than 150p. So a rise back over £1 in the near future should be on the cards. | 888icb

01/7/2014 15:49 | Cheers SG. Feels like we are going through the watching-paint-dry phase but piece by piece MC is getting it all together. A sunny summer then a breathtaking PFS and sale for Xmas would be my ideal 2014. GL | mlangton1
30/6/2014 20:15 | From LSE today , Jibbo Interesting articleToday 19:54An article by Ron Mandel in Toronto for Mergermarket (owned by the FT): Condor Gold (LON:CNR) will decide on the future path for its La India gold project in Nicaragua following a pre-feasibility study (PFS) which it plans to file in September, said Mark Child, chairman and CEO. Condor, a London-based mining explorer, whose market capitalization is GBP 33m (USD 56m), could decide to sell the project or proceed to a feasibility study, and then make a sell-or-build decision, Child said. He cautioned that Condor does not have a time line to a sale. A preliminary economic assessment (PEA) estimated capex for a mine on La India at about USD 180m, including both open-pit and underground mining operations, Child said. In an effort to lower capex, the upcoming PFS includes only an open-pit mine, the CEO said. Condor does not yet know the capex figure for a smaller mine, but it might be around USD 120m, he said. Condor could speak to bankers about financing the mine once the PFS is finalized, Child said. It also has to file an environmental impact assessment (EIA) as part of a permit application, he said. The open-pit mine would process resources of 840,000 oz gold, and is expected to produce for eight years, Child said. According to a corporate presentation, it is anticipated to produce 80,000 oz gold per year. If Condor does sell La India, B2Gold, which already mines gold in Nicaragua, could potentially be interested in acquiring it, an industry banker said. Pershimco Resources, which is advancing a gold project in Panama, also could consider acquiring La India, the banker said. Pershimco, whose market capitalization is CAD 66m (USD 61m), likely would pay with stock, he said, adding that Yamana Gold might also be a potential acquirer. Condor has discovered further mineralization on La India which could be processed in an open-pit mine, Child said. If it drills that area, it hopes it might be able to add another 300,000 oz gold to the project's resources. According to the presentation, adding the additional mineralization is projected to raise La India's estimated production to 100,000 oz gold per year. Condor plans a capital raise in 2H14 to fund continued operations, with the amount yet to be determined, Child said. Condor also owns two gold projects in El Salvador, but it is not exploring them because of a mining moratorium | saturdaygirl |
