I hope we'll be bought out. With (a likely) 700,000 ounces reserve at PFS, will that be enough to entice a buyer?

I think the plan is to move up to 1,000,000 ounces for BFS, which might draw in more interested parties. Or finally sway anyone wavering on the sidelines...

My guess - and it's only that - is that PFS should be sufficient. Taking the Papillion Resources deal as an example - $240 per RESERVE ounce - Condor will be worth a minimum of £2.61p per share at PFS (8 weeks or so away?). So, I suspect the negotiations could simply hinge around the value of the ounces at PFS that fall outside the reserve status - what value do they have to a potential purchaser... These will still be Indicated/Inferred ounces of course.

Proactive Investors' Comment

Condor Gold (LON:CNR) has unveiled encouraging findings from exploration trenching, which continue to show the potential at La India.
The original 1,400 metre (m) trench programme has now been extended to 3,500m after positive results of the study, which is testing four regional targets, which were seen as having potential for open pit mining.
One finding, which has particularly impressed Condor geologists, is a pit wall 45 metres from a previous trench from Newmont Mining, which showed a four metre wide breccia with a grade of up to 16.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold.
Meanwhile, the San Lucas resource trench also demonstrated the potential for another feeder pit with results of six metres at 7.65g/t gold and 16.15m at 2.20g/t of the yellow metal.
Condor added that confidence had also been improved in the current open pit mineral resource estimate following 321 metres at the La India open pit, which shows some material can be moved to the higher confidence indicated category, which will allow them to be included in the pre-feasibility study.
This resource is now 921,000 ounces (oz) at 3.1g/t including 840,000 oz at 3.1g/t in the indicated category and 81,000 oz gold in the inferred category.
Last week, the firm said it intended to start a bankable study for its La India gold project in Nicaragua directly after it finishes a pre-feasibility study.
Condor said its strategy this year is to produce a base case pre-feasibility study (PFS) on an 840,000 oz open pit augmented by surface work on several targets outside the existing resource.
