SP , Look at the GDXJ as a grouped together average or indicee of small cap Gold miners , GDX also serves the larger miners and most to be found on the US Canandian market . This is where I expect Condor to be valued in the lead up to a take over and MC`s efforts to have the NI 43-101 compliant Mineral Resource of 2.33 Million oz gold at 3.9g/t including a high grade open pit resource of 1.14 Million oz gold at 3.1g/t on its 100% owned La India Project in Nicaragua.

I think MC has been quoted as saying he wants Condor to walk talk and be classed as a Canadian Gold miner

I think you are referring to the late 25k trades which I agree, were roll-overs...but earlier today there were also two 25k trades which, from memory, did not look like trades being rolled.
Looking better though....at last!!

They were roll-overs along with the 40k roll-over. Some hot money coming in today along with the roll-overs.

Nice to see lots of buys (2 x25k, 3 x 13k) but, unusually, it isn't shifting the share price...do we have a large sell behind the scenes?

Driven by returning confidence in gold I would say. In any event 2014 will be a landmark year for Condor so it's possible there are a few well informed smaller funds gradually increasing their positions in the event of a sale later in the year.

'Fraid not veldt. Wish I did. But I do have faith in both the resource and in Mark Childs. My only doubts throughout have been in relation to the gold price, which still worries me a bit although obviously better recently. Still sitting on my original stake at 1.6p (32p equivalent) from 2011 - which I have added to on numerous occasions. And still waiting for the end game...

As for gold, it's getting very tight here and should now move anytime and it still appears to want higher.

If you took the silver long position I talked about here in last week's letter as being a very low risk, you had a great week! Congrats!



Gold ended the week up 1.49%. We are very near a move here as this triangle pattern is getting very, very tight. There is a saying that little bars, or tight trading, leads to big bars and that is what we are setting up well for here with gold.

The buy point here is a move above its 100 day moving average now at $1,271.90 which also coincides with its large downtrend line. This is a great setup here but I do have a sneaking suspicion the breakout will come Sunday night in overseas trading while I'm sound asleep.

I'm seeing some large bets in the miners at the moment and in some related ETF's as well. These trades are very bullish and only add one more arrow to the bullish quiver.

And the chart has a definite U or angle change along with the GDXJ GDX and GOLD Comex price .

Unless the FED no different we are past the bottom and they have very little gold left to sell to prop up the Dollar , Feb could be the turning point ?
