19/12/2013 19:33 | jeansey, you may be short here or wanting to buy-in cheaper: that I don't know: $1050 thereabouts pog may well happen, but NOT any further. The branksters hammer it on a Friday and are doing their best before the dawn of 2014. Already many mines are uneconomic and, in brief = history will partially repeat itself and many knowledgeable expect at least $1400 as the months wear on. With monstrous global debts, who'd be chasing FTSE and the Dow right now (not me!) | rhuvaal2
19/12/2013 18:22 | Cant see this reaching anything like £2 . Gold is now below 1200 and likely to fall much further imo. Im afraid that the pfs is going to be too late. | jeanesy2
19/12/2013 15:47 | You should get yourself down that leaf strewn, verdant path to those welcoming Inns,Precinct14,you naughty tinker. | steeplejack
19/12/2013 15:19 | Frankly,I consider that the price of gold has seen most of the fall. All the South African mines are unprofitable and are at best being mothballed.Less production means that supply/ demand balance will be re established while the ETFs have already in 2013 unwound 3 years of positions built up in the previous three years.Gold will probably hang around current levels in 2014.As for miners ,well even if you don't fancy a bull run in gold the valuations being applied to junior miners like Condor are ridiculous,I don't see Mark Child's entertaining a bid at anything under two quid and I reckon major shareholders would dismiss anything less than that, especially given the prices they've recently paid for stock. | steeplejack

19/12/2013 11:24 | If I was a company looking to buy another company 'on the cheap', I would do it now....not when the pog was a lot higher. | warmsun
19/12/2013 08:16 | It could be the case that a very high grade of gold that can be extracted at a low cost per oz in a mining friendly country is a very attractive asset when the gold price is weak. | 888icb
19/12/2013 08:03 | With last nights news, pog is going to go much lower imo. This will not help here.Cant see a bid materialising even after the pfs, at a figure that will be acceptable. Full prodution will be the only option and who knows where the pog will be then . | jeanesy2
18/12/2013 09:04 | Positive comment from this fund manager: "We are impressed with Mark Child at Condor Gold and believe that he is a man to back." hxxp://www.webbcapit Let's hope they increase their postion. We could realy do with some of the iis stepping up now. | drandika
17/12/2013 19:20 | patience my friend, and meantime think of something else = by the end of 2014 or thereabouts this will be a 5-bagger from here.... enjoy the season, be silly to sell now :) | rhuvaal2
17/12/2013 13:40 | Hitting daily lows . Not good. What on earth is the new broker waiting for. Not impressed at all. Some on here seem to be holding out for between £4-8 . I would be happy with a pound right now, as i can see 50p in the not too distant future. | jeanesy2

11/12/2013 14:42 | SP An initial production strategy through open-pit operations alone yielding 0.87Moz over the nine years from 2017 generates an NPV of £172m (454p/share), also based on our gold price forecasts averaging US$1,676/oz from 2017, which supports the strategy of lowering initial funding requirements to potentially add to project value in the longer term. | saturdaygirl

06/12/2013 11:56 | Total over-reaction to that RNS that sparked all this....if I wasn't up to my neck in CNR already I'd be thinking about buying around this point. Looks like 80p ish is the support point. | molatovkid
06/12/2013 11:42 | Seems to be some people 'nibbling' at CNR this morning...long may it continue! Currently 79p - 82p | warmsun |
