Makes perfect sense, buy the rumour sell the news - I sold before the news @ 127p as this struggled to build any momentum towards this "great" news.

43% increase in Indicated and the share price falls. You just can't believe this reaction to another major positive step on Condors journey to a sale. It makes no sense.

Maybe it all appears relatively unexciting compared with the numbers being bandied about by Mariana at their presentation last night.10moz in Peru etc

This sell off has been well overdone. People are forgetting that this is a first class gold resource and likely to be bought out.Typical panic selling by those who expect immediate profits. At these prices I'm topping up

If high grades are what you are after then SRB have high-grade gold intersections including 114.74 g/t and 175.19 g/t. Albeit this is for their Sao Chico interest Serabi Gold are about to start production in December/January on the Palito mine. A bad comparision perhaps as this is not open pit but nonetheless actual production is imminent.

Condor Gold resource update points to larger open pit at Nicaragua project

Condor's (LON:CNR) latest resource estimate sees an increase in the amount of gold in the higher confidence indicated category as well as an expansion of the open-pit portion of its La India project in Nicaragua.
The data was compiled from 14,000 metres of infill drilling by SRK Consulting to give an NI 43-101-compliant 2.37mln ounces.

As Jibbo has pointed out on LSE it actually includes a grade decrease, which was unexpected :

"Mark suggested recently that the grade would rise slightly but in fact it has dropped from 4.6 to 3.9g/t and from 3.9 to 3.0 for the Indicated open pit element. That has taken 220k oz out of the open pit and the overall grade decrease has lost us about 300k oz, so we have fallen well short of what I was expecting. There were not many of us expecting a grade decrease. After such a long wait I have to admit to being underwhelmed."

Some initial notes:
1. Has the draft Resource upgrade ..... just finalising
2. 2x small feeder pits confirmed America and Central Brecia
3. Hydrology started, Geochem being completed and another 1 half way through but missed which 1
4. sp same as 2 years ago despite 35k drilling, pea, ½ through pfs
5. Hoping to have fully open pit for first 5 years
