04/11/2013 09:52 | M4, one concurs, a bid is highly unlikely in the current macro environment. It is also highly likely that we have already rebuffed several requests for a look at the our confidential drilling data by third parties!!!! | sir andrew ffoulkes
03/11/2013 13:17 | I am a long time holder and I will be there right to the end. I cannot see a bid coming in anytime soon under the current conditions and even if it did it would be rebuffed. This is a quality gold explorer which will eventually prove itself. | marketeer4
03/11/2013 10:48 | Delaying news may see the share price drop further..and so, any bid that comes in might be lower as the premium on a lower share price might be perceived to be fair..if you follow? Swings and roundabouts to a degree? Agreed, an RNS next week would be pleasing! | warmsun
02/11/2013 19:38 | Yes but with the Yamana /Extorre deal done at $160 p/oz indicated and current climate at around $120 p/oz its not the time to get the best offers ? Delaying any sale and waiting for a stronger gold price has to be considered in realizing shareholder value . There are plenty of ways to delay news , having said that an RNS next week would please many here . | saturdaygirl
02/11/2013 17:31 | But a bidder has to be sure they come in with a reasonable offer, otherwise so done will come in and beat it...I see CNR as an attractive company which more than one predator would be interested in....biased as I am ! :) | warmsun
01/11/2013 22:09 | Good post SG | pillion
01/11/2013 22:05 | jeanesy2 My post was well over the top ,yes frustration creeping in . My apologies for yesterday post . I have two trains of thought here at present , the first is MC has 3 conferences next week and guess he would like the latest resource out in the open to give CNR some new news for those investors he is about to address . The other is "if" the bottom is in on the gold price would it not be advantageous to hold back news for a higher gold price . The resource upgrade does give any predator a chance to make a very cheap offer for CNR at this time I believe Extorre were bought out on a PEA and the shareholders did not receive fair value "Analysts were quick to praise Yamana for picking up a high-quality asset at an excellent price. But reaction was more mixed on the Extorre side. According to analyst Daniel Earle of TD Newcrest, the valuation multiple on this deal is barely more than half that of comparable transactions. "We view the implied valuation as being very disappointing for Extorre shareholders," Mr. Earle wrote in a note, adding that there is plenty of room for a competing bid." With this in mind should CNR really be trying to get the goods out in the open and be liable to low ball offers ? | saturdaygirl
01/11/2013 16:33 | MM's happy to leave price today despite lots of small buys, again surprising imo. | jeanesy2
01/11/2013 09:17 | My post was more concerned with any new readers here getting a wrong view/perspective of the company....I for one am not 'frustrated'...again your simple statement could be misconstrued by any would-be new investors. | warmsun
01/11/2013 08:55 | Some harsh treatment of jeansey for what stating the truth - clearly frustration building here. | alex hawk
01/11/2013 08:30 | Having read my post I didn't mean to come across as aggressive. But yes patience is testing. However as warmsun stated thre has not been a stampede. | rfv
01/11/2013 08:19 | I am in this share for the long term, having first bought over 5 years ago, unlike some here ! I was just stating that it was strange that sells have outweighed buys leading up to important news ! | jeanesy2
01/11/2013 07:47 | jeanesy2 Have you invested more than you can afford and are you forgetting that this is AIM? We all want instant riches but it only happens to lottery winners or to any PI who happens by chance to pile in just as the share price takes off. It will happen but when and if we fall still further before that happens who knows? I have to ditto the previous two posts - have patience if you can afford it or sell and go away. | rfv
31/10/2013 23:34 | Jeansey....there has hardly been a bloody stampede in selling! Unless the gold has evaporated, I can see nothing but good news ahead.... have some patience man. | warmsun
31/10/2013 16:22 | 5 out of the last 6 days have seen more sells than buys. Not what you would have expected ahead of important news.. that is now overdue ! | jeanesy2
31/10/2013 12:01 | Agreed and seconded! :) | warmsun
31/10/2013 09:41 | Hey all, Try not to post jitters it does erode confidence especially to newcommers. We know that we're onto a winner here eventually. The gold has not evaporated. When the significant news materialises the share price will jump to an extent that anyone out will not have time to climb aboard. | rfv
31/10/2013 09:31 | Market sensitive news is usually issued at 0700. Having said that it is still possible it might come today. Either way I really don't see it as a problem. | psolomons
31/10/2013 08:40 | jeanesy2: Fair comment, but the day is yet young! | plasybryn
31/10/2013 08:26 | A delay whatever the reason lowers confidence. They could at least have put out a statement telling us when to expect news , having said it would be out by the end of oct.People will/are selling as they dislike uncertainty | jeanesy2
31/10/2013 08:22 | Well it was in the last Presentation and in the 6 month report - "by end of October". But Oct is not out yet!!! But does it really matter if it is now, next week or end of November? If people sell and the price falls then they are presenting a buying opportunity which will correct very quickly IMO | plasybryn |
