30/3/2013 11:36 | Interesting perspective on juniors:- | ![]() buddyol2
29/3/2013 17:08 | Funds don't normally buy in the market, they like to pick up a tranche through a placing. I think we are just caught up in the gold market negativity which at some point will change. These are cyclical shares. Name a small AIM goldie that is not caught in this trend? It is difficult not to worry at times, but we just have to focus on what MC is saying. Everything is positive, in fact very positive and patient investors will be rewarded. Condor is so unlike most in that it is fully funded. In this climate that is a massive bonus. We just have to sit back and wait for MC to prove up the resource which is getting more valuable everyday. | ![]() plasybryn
28/3/2013 21:23 | IMO if Regent are driving the price down , they have to buy at some point or are still hoovering the PI sells . This could go on for some time if they want the full £3m from scared PI`s and stop losses that are hit . Who knows till we get some news in the form of a holding RNS or a statement saying Condor has no idea for the decline in the share price . I hope its the former and it puts more shares in safe hands . Of course RP may want more than £3m as they could not agree with MC .. just my thoughts | ![]() saturdaygirl
28/3/2013 20:55 | Here's a bizarre theory. We've all been speculating about CNR being taken over....what if it is now, as we speak, but from the inside? Is there a bit of a power struggle going on here I wonder? | ![]() molatovkid
28/3/2013 20:44 | Looks like we are all being crucified for Easter. Some time are McQ bought millions at 9p we were down at 4p (old money) Hopefully not heading down that route again, though pretty much all minors seem to be suffering the same fate, even as the FTSE climbs. Ah well, best wishes for the weekend all. | ![]() mlangton1
28/3/2013 20:13 | If Regent are shorting this so they can buy cheap shares it is only a problem if you sell. If you want to you can take advantage and buy cheap shares as well safe in tHe knowledge that Regent in due course want this share to be much higher.. I do agree that shorting should be outlawed. | ![]() 888icb
28/3/2013 19:02 | Unfortunately, this is the problem with short selling by people with deep pockets imo....and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out how to do it..... The sooner short selling is outlawed the better off all stocks will be... | ![]() barts
28/3/2013 18:18 | Yes.......to the detriment of us PIs.....! | ![]() warmsun
28/3/2013 18:08 | Regent are smart enough, with the resources, to short this down and then pick up the shares on the cheap when they are ready | ![]() molatovkid
28/3/2013 17:56 | They would not be able to buy 3mill shares without driving the price up significantly....tha I, personally (and I am allowed a view!) do not believe it is simply the market marking this down....there are games being played....to the detriment of long serving loyal shareholders.....inc | ![]() warmsun
28/3/2013 17:28 | As I mentioned earlier the biggest losers from the recent fall are the very people you are suggesting have caused the fall ie Regent Pacific who are currently £900000 Down. So Regent need it to go above £1.60 to get there money back. If Regent are responsible they will have to spend the £3 million buying up shares at the lower price to drive the share price back up. This would be better than the original plan which involved new shares being issued. | ![]() 888icb
28/3/2013 17:15 | I am not blaming MC for the fall.He has been a great Influence on Condor. What I am saying is that in the face of the very significant progress over the past year--a little reassurance would be welcome. Many here are connecting the shares not taken up with the 'correction'. | ![]() panamabob2
28/3/2013 17:09 | I have no doubts whatsoever about the Company. It's just annoying that after months of hard work and our patience, it gets knocked down to this silly price....I suppose that's the stock market for you! | ![]() warmsun
28/3/2013 17:02 | Everything remains in place, it is just that Condor is better value to buy today than it was last week. Condor is going to be news driven, so we will have to be patient. Mark is focussed on realising value for himself and his shareholders. He has no doubts about what he is doing. | ![]() plasybryn
28/3/2013 14:57 | Better still if you can buy one get one free | ![]() yangou
28/3/2013 14:34 | Very true....if only the stockmarket was like a supermarket with big stickers on the products saying "good" one and "bad" one with details of "sell by dates" to inform of best time to take profits or cut and run.I suppose that's what analysts are for but they invariably want you to consume just about everything in my experience. | ![]() steeplejack
28/3/2013 13:27 | RP win some and lose some. I bet their average is still above yours and mine. My own experience over 25 years of investing is that the good ones usually come back and in some fashion | ![]() marketeer4
28/3/2013 12:34 | There are no unusual volumes but one must expect movements as this is one of the last days to book profits or losses for CGT purposes before the end of the tax year. The immortal words " Calm Down Dear" spring to mind in relation to a number of comments on this BB in recent days. The fundamentals havent changed and we have had £7 million @£1.60. If you feel bad just think of Regent who are down £900000+ on their recent investment! | ![]() 888icb
28/3/2013 12:24 | I agree with kickstart, what can MC say.The junior resource shares are being hammered, look at the likes of Boabab down today on an optimistic statement or Mariana who are hanging by a thread running seriously short of the readies. The world is in a bloody financial pickle and these minnows are on the cutting edge.Condor is fine.Short term I don't think Dattels has helped the cause penny pinching over money for the third share tranche but really it's a general sector malaise. | ![]() steeplejack
28/3/2013 12:05 | Agree with you kickstart - it's the market but not however to the overvalution. Come on everyone don't turn on MC now, we were way below this share price not that long ago. Still disappointing though. BTW I do believe we've hit support now. | ![]() rfv
28/3/2013 11:44 | We can agree to disagree... | ![]() warmsun
28/3/2013 11:29 | What aload of rubbish talked here, look at all gold shares , if a junior is not producing and making money the shares are being trashed however good their potential. Get real please, the company does not need to issue an announcement because the share has fallen, its the market.Even producers have fallen substantially. Have you ever thought this share may have been over valued ? | ![]() kickstart
28/3/2013 10:20 | I do so agree Warmsun. We have had a constant stream of great news for about a year.We were led to believe that we were all going to be rewarded for our patience in a very significant way.Now this fall without explanation. If MC is to retain his halo,he should give us an explanation without delay!!!!!!!!! | ![]() panamabob2
28/3/2013 10:20 | maybe people just wanting to bank profits in this year for CGT reasons? No idea | turborock
28/3/2013 10:12 | There is or there isn't a reason for this large fall in the share price...I, as a shareholder would like to know what is going on. I am not naive enough to expect the Company to issue RNS's every day of the week, but, given all the good news we have had recently and now this fall in the share price,I do believe it is only right that the Company should comment...even if it is simply to say 'there is no reason for....blah blah blah...' rant over...I will just sit and continue to watch the share price fall away....no doubt it will probably reciver just as quickly, but that isn't the point... | ![]() warmsun |
