Unless they thought they had a very strong hand and could force Childs to accept the lower price. Mark, however, seems confident that there's more than enough cash already and told 'em where to go.

Sorry, misread your question. Very strange. they were happy to chuck money at £1.60, but at around £1.50 they aren't ? Can't believe it's the change in price. So logically it's either something they saw during due diligence (which I find difficult to believe) or some other - possibly external - factor.

Is this thread about London-listed Condor Gold or Toronto-listed Condor Resources? The charts are for the former but the company name in the header is for the latter. It's a bit confusing.

Yes, I believe many can't wait to see some results from Mestiza.

The way that the funding came about, when weren't looking for it, left a few questions and maybe Mestiza may provide a few answers

One thing that does bug me .

In the PEA written last year it states 500m trenching of Mestiza completed , thats the same as the last drilling update from this month at 500m ?

Something does not add up here ?

The mind boggles if they found something , stopped the PEA gained 10m investment ...Mestiza could have some unanswered questions ??

Good start to the week with a 9% rise following the positive press over the weekend. I am expecting further positive news as the week progresses as Regent due diligence and further subscription for shares takes place. There is also a presentation on Thursday which normally means news.

Midas column in yesterday's Financial Mail writes up Condor drawing attention to potential increases in resource estimates and the backing of shareholders like Mr Melon.Barclay's morning call notes carry reference to article this morning.
