Well their loss is my gain- picked up a load more (in from the days of 1.4p here) in a few buys last week and now the seller has gone away, I think we will see 220p+ this side of Chrimbo!

Courtesy of V1d....Macquarie....it's a policy thing. They are just divesting themselves of their portfolio of under-performing small-caps. They just look at the portfolio as a whole and don't seem to differentiate between companies, so this baby goes out with all of the other bathwater. However, there have been plenty of takers for all of their shares, and in some pretty large chunks as well. To have got 1.6M shares away at £1.80 is exceptional in the present panicky market.

Strange that Macquarie are selling out, I seem to recall that they put millions in at 9p old money, so they are only at breakeven, but as stated above perhaps they have had a change of corporate strategy.

Oops missed that thanks. So we reckon they went below 3pc then, and dumped their last shares last week?

So why haven't Macquarie declared their holding sold if it was a week ago? They're under an obligation to declare it.

Thanks for the link Sunjammer. I like the last final statement: 'We have the largest resource by a long way in the country, and the government's [of Nicaragua] very keen that we put up a new large commercial gold mine as soon as possible.'
