Dry season has started

So Hundreds of miners should join the working force at the india cooperative’s land,

Previously the cooperative tried to kick out those miners that wre not entitled to work but failed. Then it seems that the coop was trying to charge a % of the ore extracted.

It could be very good for cnr IF the coop reduces the numbers of miners, it would give a better image to potential buyers visiting the site

I will ask what is happening during the start of this dry season.

One additional thought:

Assuming somebody wants to buy La India, why should he pay 106M for the asset alone, when he can buy the whole company (including La India asset) for 35-40M?

106M makes no sense at all. As posted yesterday, my assumption is that La India will be sold for 20-30M. It’s simple math.

So now I think on this BB we have 20% honest shareholders that are in the minus and try to stay positive somehow, maybe 5% former shareholders that stepped out early enough, and 75% ramping crew trying to aggressively hold as many as possible on the sinkimg ship while the criminal draining of cash is goin on. Ridiculous.
At least we have some truth here on advfn, the LSE hoard is moch more dominated by the paid rampers. Morrgan maybe you should post your BS over there?

You really shouldn't be talking smarts, especially when you wrote that 38p was the bottom here.

Yes, I think we can all agree you're very smart lol.

Morrgan your stupidity will cost you some money. You do not even know the difference between share deal and asset deal.
Unless you are a paid ramper paying your bills on consultancy fees.

Wow this whole CNR becomes really an example case how junior mining companies are misleading shareholders. I would call it real Crime what’s going on here.

Definitely buying in here this morning, been watching this puppy for 2 years.
Have to say MC has made a right pigs ear of this whole show, way too much fannying around. The end game here could have been soooooo different.
We know MC is no free talker when he has something under his hat, but he should say something soon though about the sanctions not affecting CNR, if he knows.

I can't see these assets for going for less than 50p, but if I can buy today at 22p and the sale gets me 44p....you won't see me complaining as I will make money.

The gr/ton cnr quotes are diluted, data includes the material from vein material with the rock (outside the vein) they need to extract to reach the vein.
The miners extract material just from the vein, average around 10gr/ton, sometimes higher , some time lower.
If they get into a good vein the grades could be much higher
I know a person got lucky and earned 5 number $usa figure in few months, he employees around 12 miners in its vein that is in a tunnel he built in an area named El avispero. He has stored lots of rocks in his garage and back garden to process it when he can’t go to the tunnels.
Would u give away that for some water and $6000?
When u compare with the money its made working in the factories in the zona franca ($5 to $7 per day) an artisanal miner makes much more. But I know that Sometimes if they can’t find gold they go hungry, specially the miners who don’t own any land. In general they are very poor in comparison to us , live in very humble houses

Miners always get suspicious when I quote them cnr declared grades bcs in their opinion those grades are too low. I believe my explanation makes sense

The coop land has a problem, in the sense that miners need to go deeper as the time passes. Also in the wet session there are less miners working bcs it is dangerous

They crash the rocks with an artisanal mill named rastras, they can be seen in the following videos

They have been extracting gold in that mine for 100 years, and they could extract for another 200 years or more if cnr does not touch it. the coop director said they will not give their land unless it is convenient for them

In the RNS blurb yesterday it stated that the FS found reserves of around 4 grams per tonne. So, at 28 grams to the ounce, you'd have to process 7 tonnes of material to get one ounce of gold. Which would be worth $1,600.

Are we saying that these artisanal miners are somehow processing 7 tonnes of material to earn $1,600 ? How the hell are they doing that ? Don't tell me they have little pans that they swirl round with water !

It seems we own the CONCESSION for the whole 588 square kilometer La India area plus the 1000 hectares of land we bought for $4 million which is needed for the actual processing. So this 0.4% of land we don't own is also in the processing area ?

No mention at all of Mestiza.

This gets more confusing by the minute...

"The Company's principal asset is La India Project, Nicaragua, which comprises of a large, highly prospective land package of 588 sq km comprising of 12 contigious and adjacent concessions......

.....Other assets include approximately 1,000 hectares of land purchased for the mine site infrastructure for circa US$4.2M and a new SAG Mill package purchased for US$6.5M"

I see Winnifroths bashing slaves are working the bulletin boards 24/7 as predicted, no doubt there will be another 'article' on shorting site Sh@repropets following the podcast yesterday, there usually is a follow up to turn the screw.

It's a risky business shorting this especially with a billionaire major shareholder sitting in the background.

Interesting times.

The above article says:
-lack of financing has been the reason to put cnr for sell.
- cnr has been looking for a partner for a while

I can see some here think miners are stupid

The only way is to treat them with the respect the law demands, they own a mining concession and acquired rights as dwellers, otherwise cnr should not have got involved, period.

Nicaragua is not india in the 1700s , or Russia in the 80s. miners are very proud, hard working, and can fight. Uk does not have the army in Nicaragua!! They will give you two fingers to ur proposal to put them on Calais beaches

JM, and MC thought almost like u, let’s shaft them with water and a take all their gold with the government help, they did not want to pay attention to the fact that the government is a corrupt beast and the miners support the government in the elections !!! . Still the miners may loose it all bcs of the government Nicaragua has…let’s see what the new owners do

So far there are NOT rumours that calibre is interested, but early days. They may prefer we go like this looking for a buyer for months and then get us for pennies … perhaps as JM did in Russia?, who could blame them

We need competition btw Calibre and Makao, would we have it?

May be it would be good not to sell and become a force landowner till this government is kicked out.

Truth is we don’t know what is going to happen , and we own la Mestiza which is very valuable asset which is ready for mining

It would probably be cheaper to fly all of the villagers to Calais and pop them into dinghys across to good old blighty where they will be given the 5* treatment forever and never again have to scrat about in the mud looking for shards of gold...

To put the india in the sell brochure with golden letters then there needs to be an agreement to move the village

At the moment the only asset calibre would be interested is La mestiza (unless we move the villagers) . But we drilled it only to proof 85k oz of good reserves, this was a mistake if we intended to sell cnr, we could have proven 300k of excellent reserves! We were so clever!

One big miner could do what cnr never did, move the village for la mestiza, drill the whole lot. Everybody happy

I'd happily take a 66p dividend and donate my remaining shares to the La India artesanal miners and orphans charity (if there is one).

A further problem that many optimists overlook:

IF the best case happens, La India is sold for 106M and a dividend per share of 66p is paid out, the value of the REMAINING company assets are 1-3p/ share.
This means that as soon as the 66p are paid out, the share price drops from where it is now (say around 20-25p to 1-3p.
Effectively the dividend payout might give you a net value of 40-45 p/share.
And that is by very far the most optimistic scenario.

I would love to hear 888s scenario, how he gets to a share price of his claimed 1GBP

If you believe that his only company strategy is to do anything and everything to maintain the status quo, so the company can keep his salary/pension pot live, you're probably guessing correctly.

What realistic possibility can stop this rip-off ?

You are a deramping short selling fiend in cahoots with a cartel of derampers. Did you not know this is worth a billion trillion dollars and Ortega and Marky are besties and big Jimbo is the predominant mining expert of the century. More fool you. As for Biden what does he know with his tomfoolery nonsense of embargoes and sanctions. Thank heavens we have an inner sanctum of sense and realism as well as Putin on our side as a bastion against this cascade of misguided despair. Right 888?

Sell volumes seem to be outnumbering buy volumes by a factor of around 10 to 1.

Not surprising. Difficult though it is to swallow, even the most ardent CNR supporter has to wake up and smell the roses at some point 😕

Cnr would need btw $1.5 to $2 million for the cash part the associates were /are asking for plus la mestiza (or a part of it).
But given away la mestiza imho is madness bcs villagers will want more when explosions start on their back gardens

Imho it needs to be la mestiza for the village, or sale to someone who can make something out of this mess

Villagers are sad cnr is leaving, there is lots of goodwill invested along the years literally thrown away bcs poor leadership from the top who decided not to pay, and not to negotiate but to trust in a corrupt government

There is always an opportunity to make amends, but now it looks like we need a miracle. Hopefully the miners offer something??? That would be a miracle too

He thought the government would help him
Imho, in the best case scenario He has a letter of intent from the government offering help?
How can Cnr trust a fraudulent government?
I agreed he should have paid after negotiating in 2017 in the middle of the protests, but he panicked
Reality is, he throws the towel and the moment we should be celebrating the financing package landing
